When I First Came To This School From Another School I was Mad, But Now Im Happy I Did The School Is good, Good Teachers A Great Staff Menbe. If a kid says hey are aving problems at the school then they lack social skills because with the teachers we have pushing us to be our best.. its imposible to fail.
I'm a 6th grader. I love this school so much! This school has a rating of nine out of ten because most of the students in this school pass the FCAT. What the previous review said is totally false. I mean how could the teachers be careless if at the end most students pass?Right now, I'm almost a seventh grader. My FCAT scores are: a high five for math(I got only one wrong) and a three for reading. If you want me to be honest, I SUCK at reading. But even with that I didn't fail. I love all of my teachers. They are awesome. They do everything they can, the only thing that your child needs to be is not lazy. I mean I came to this school with barely knowing any English, and guess what? My final report card is all straight As with a perfect GPA of 4.0 . A student might be smart, but if he or she is lazy, the student has no chance. So if I, a girl that came from Israel just almost two years ago, ended the year with straight As, perfect GPA, a "honoring certificate" in math, and got accepted to all honor clubs, your child can do it for sure. About friends, it all depends on the person. Let's just say that me and one girl started out with arch enemies, now we are best friends.
I really don't understand why this school has a 9 rating. I agree with the previous review. Most of the teachers ARE horrible and uncaring. I currently have two students there. One is graduating and fortunately we are moving, so the other will be transferring to another school. Also, my kids are smart kids otherwise their grades would be horrible due to lack of proper education. I can only say good things about maybe a couple the teachers. The students are a different issue. It has been really difficult for my kids to find good friends in the school. There are rising drug and promiscuity problems I really wish they would address.
I hate it. People are constantly bullied. The teachers, are horrible. The kids, unkind and hateful. DONT send your kids here. take it from me. they WILL SUFFER
Im curently attending 8th grade there and likemost schools its ok. once you find your freinds and have people to talk to its good. the teahers are ok depends on what team you have. there are some really good teachers that are fun and help you learn and then you have the boring suckish ones. there arent a lot of clubs. overall its ok. The dances are cheap i dont go to them and the lunch isnt good but its public its just ok you have to be with freinds and make the school fun
this school is really awesome! wuld reccomend this school to anyone
I went to this school for just one year and it was 8th grade and I think this school is really good I loved how every teacher trully pushed every student to their limit and always were making us give our best. Honestly I would recomend this school to anyone and about the FCAT, every school in the state of florida focuses too much on the FCAT and thats not the schools fault but the states and the government fault. I think that there are clicks like in every other school and kids are not nasty unless you let them be nasty to you. Maybe if somebody doesnt stand up to them thats why kids arent friendly.
This school is okay the academics is probably good as you can get in South Florida. The school feels more like a military camp.Everyone have clicks and the kids are not that friendly.I pulled my daughter out this year and we are now moving out of state.I feel the state focus too much on the FCAT and not enough on every subject.
MY son goes there and he loves middle school, he enjoys going and is doing very well, they genuinely care about their students and parents that volunteer.
I'm currently a stedent in IRMS, and I believe that it is one of the best schools I have ever been to. Sixth grade was a bit rough and there was some rude and nasty teachers then. My team had this one teacher who was disorganized and did not teach us what we were supposed to learn, but that situation was taken care of when I went into the seventh grade. Everything was quite pleasant, and I had great teachers who always helped you out so you could pass with flying colors. I'm now going into the eigth grade and I cannot wait to start learning again.
