I am so happy we switched to Lighthouse. Our son is excited about school again; he loves his teacher who gives him the help he needs. He didnt recieve this help at his old school. What a great blessing this school has been. Thank you.

What a blessing Lighthouse is to my daughter and our entire family. The moment my daughter and I met with the principal of the middle school we felt we had found the perfect school. It was after the first week of her attending Lighthouse that we KNEW we found the perfect school. My husband and I see the beautiful smiling face we missed seeing when she previously attended public middle school. No longer do we have to wonder if she is getting bullied by other students, no longer do we have to wonder if her teachers will make fun of her for her Christian beliefs and no longer do we have to see our daughter crying because of school. Furthermore, our daughter is challenged daily from each of her teachers in all aspects of learning. She is fed spiritually, academically and socially the love of Christ. No longer do my husband and I have to believe the lies that we were fed when we went with concerns to the public middle school and told oh, that s just how girls are in middle school. She is blossoming into the beautiful pre-teen that God intended. Lighthouse has answered so many different prayers for our daughter. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.

This year Lighthouse Christian Academy students averaged 1 year ahead of grade level, grades K-5 to Grade 8. 74% of LCA Elementary students were above grade level as indicated by Stanfords Achievement tests. Our academics shine! Both my children are LCA graduates and are excelling spiritually and academically at reputable institutions of higher learning. LCA is raising up tomorrow's leaders!!

I have attended the Ligthouse Church for over 23 years, but have only worked for the school for about a year and a half. Because I attended the church so long, I know many of the teachers and office staff very well. I have to say that to work at the school is a privilege. Many of the teachers & office staff have worked there for over ten years and even over 15 years. There are always some that come and go, but there is a great christian foundation of people there who really do give their all to give your child the very best. The school has a moto af being a small school with a big heart and it could not be more true. The administrators are sharp and care for the needs and concerns of the parents and students. I sent my kids here several years ago when they were in school, and have never had a problem with the school or their ability to teach my kids both educational and character value. I am sad to see the negative remarks, but I know form being a human...it's humabn to complain. God bless all the schools this school year and remember it is about the education and character of our students that is the main goal.

The school is good and the teachers are nice but the middle school is small, only 3 teachers, which means 3 electives. 6th graders aren't really allowed to participate in many extracurricular activities and there is no gym. But other than that it's great, like I said it's small and people are very friendly.

In a society where standards are dropping I am grateful the the teachers and administration at Lighthouse Christian Academy. This school is moving forward in preparing young people to be servant leaders in our world. The teachers and staff truly model what it means to be a Christian and points students to the love and mercy of Christ. While not a perfect school, I believe they are genuinely seeking excellence in every way.

My daughter has been attending Lighthouse for four years now. She is ahead of public school in learning and has scored awesomely on her SAT every year. The teachers and principal are supportive. Many of the teachers have been with Lighthouse for many years so I don't know why someone said they are always changing teachers!

I am disappointed that once again the middle school is changing teachers. I want security and every year there are new teachers.Last year the teachers helped half of the students reach honor roll status, with teachers this good why can't they keep them! Middle school has little to offer other than basics,no music, computors, science lab,art room or gym for PE.I will not be sending my children back to this school.
