I am a teacher at this fabulous school. I have previously taught in a top-rated public school in New England and a prestigious private school in North Palm Beach. St. Vincent Ferrer is on par with those other schools in terms of academics, but is a kinder, more family-oriented place to teach and learn. I love coming to work every day! The small school size has allowed me the luxury of really getting to know each of my students and their families. I love walking the halls and being able to say hello to every student by name. The principal is energetic and is moving our school forward in terms of technology, curriculum, the arts, and individual student attention. She is open and friendly not only to parents, but student and her teachers, as well. Come join us! We're open, friendly, and ready to help your child learn!
We love our school. We have a great group of volunteers who are always willing to help out where they can.
St. Vincent offers an amazing well-rounded education! I have been there for over 10 yrs and both my children have succeeded beyond expectations! After attending SVF, my oldest child was offered scholarships to top high schools in the area based on his education and extra-curricular involvement. SVF offers many athletic and arts activities that not only excel, but offer convenience for working parents. My kids would have never received the same opportunities at other schools that offer less activities and flexibility for working parents. One big, warm, supportive extended family!
we have been at st vincent's since 2002. the school is a great family environment. each year there are improvemnets that make it worth while being there.
You have got to visit St. Vincent Ferrer and see for yourself what this wonderful school has to offer-a safe environment in the beachtown of Delray, the most devoted and hardworking principal you will even find, challenging academics, wide selection of fine arts programs, competitive sports, dedicated parents/students, and last but not least - Catholic faith in action. Hands down - you will be simply impressed with St. Vincent Ferrer School. While the reality is there is no one school for every child, be assured every effort will be made for your child to succeed.
St. Vincent Ferrer has maintained a good reputation over the years and is only getting better! Under the leadership of a dedicated pastor, a highly-effective and caring principal and administrative staff, this school/parish community of one of the most dynamic and progressive a school could ever offer. With recent enhancements to the program, students are given oppportunities to explore their God-given talents/interests while being held to high academic and disciplinary standards. If you are looking for a great Catholic school/parish community which embraces parent/family involvement, and where 'failure is not an option' for your child, come experience St. Vincent's.
My child had a terrible experience at this school. Bullies who were members of families which attend the church were allowed to act with impunity. The staff and teachers had an old school attitude that children should be taught shame and guilt and fear. Our concerns as parents were ignored and the environment continued to deteriorate until we removed our child. It was a decision we should have made earlier.
I am a parent of two that attend St. Vincent's in Delray. We love the family atmosphere of the school, but our priorities are academics. Both our children are excelling, and their test scores are well above national averages. We have compared other local private school and public school curriculums, and SVF offers everything we need. The students at the school also are taught to have respect for others and accountability, and they live by these rules. They provide a very well-rounded education. The teachers, administration and staff are second to none, and I would and do recommend our school to anyone.
St. Vincent Ferrer School is one of the best schools in the diocese. They have a top-notch principal, professional and caring teachers, and they provide a nurturing environment that enables the students to discover their God-given talents spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. They provide a family type atmosphere were everyone genuinely cares for one another - living out their Catholic faith! The tuition is also priced below many of the schools in the area. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!
