I graduated at the year of 2014. Meanwhile you are at school they treat you very well even though there are A LOT OF RULES it's ok go follow them. I was at school today September 8 2014 to visit my old friends and make them a surprise but my old high school told me at the gate that I couldn't get in to visit because it's a new policy. So they always tell you that you are a part of the American heritage family but what kind of family don't let you go visit your home? I was very disappointed and I called everyone at school and they told me I'm sorry but you can't come to see your friends at LUNCH time. I mean really?? Even the deans told me I couldn't get in...

I have been a parent at this school for 5 years and I can't begin to say what a great move it was. My children started at a charter school and were happy, but could not have imagined experiencing such wonderful teachers and opportunities at any school. Whether it be high academics or the arts, this school offers it all. The open communication and dedication from the staff is wonderful. It's great to know that there is a school who loves the whole child and believes that all children can succeed.

We toured all local private schools and the feeling at American Heritage was the most welcoming.

I am a proud parent of a soon to be middle schooler at American Heritage and I have to say that we are so happy with the progress of our child. The school has excellent teachers that are both challenging and supportive at the same time. The resources at the school are top notch and always progressing. We are looking forward for another great year!

We pulled our 6 yr old last year. Lots of arrogance, snobbery from other parents. Many of them are completely immersed in gossip and we heard from one that their son was constantly bullied. They brought this up to the senior administrator who did nothing. The academics are sub-par - for the cost of tuition you would expect better qualified teachers. During a parent-teacher meeting, it was apparent that our son's teacher was uninterested and not engaged. Many of the kids did not look happy and under stress. Would not recommend you send your kid to this school.

American Heritage of Boca/Delray is an amazing school. It has exceeded our expectations on every level. Our children are students in the lower school and we cannot say enough about what an amazing experience they are having at AHS. The teachers have been top-notch, loving and compassionate and have made the elementary school experience exciting, interesting, and well-rounded. The administration is approachable and professional. We have found the families at AHS to be welcoming and down-to-earth. There are a multitude of specials that the elementary students participate in, including drama, dance, music, Spanish and Mandarin, swimming, physical education, library, computers and media, and science lab. The after school activities are phenomenal as well. The campus is gorgeous and has the finest facilities and technology. Our older son is advanced/gifted, and works ahead of grade level, and the teachers always challenge him academically. We plan to remain an AHS family all the way through High School, and could not be happier about our decision to send our children to this wonderful school.

My grandchildren are very happy at American Heritage. It seems to be a happy and safe place for kids. I always attend the lower school chorus concerts and they are adorable. My granddaughter has many interesting projects in middle school for history, English, and science.

My daughter just started in Lower School at AHS, and we could not be happier. The Lower School is truly fantastic. We all feel like family whenever we go to any school events. My daughter has made some great friends, and we have met some wonderful families as well. My daughter is ahead in her writing and math skills, and she looks forward to going to school every day. I'm looking forward to her years in Middle School, as I have heard nothing but great things about the Middle School program.

AHS provides an excellent education, plethora of classes, and harbors caring, compassionate teachers. We have been a part of the AHS family for the past 5 years and our 2 children couldn't be happier. My son is excelling in the Math program and both kids have a passion for the Sciences and look forward to the hands on experimentation. They also are fortunate to have an involvement in the fine arts - art classes, drama and chorus. Family friendly environment at its best. Truly a great school!

Be careful with this school, American Heritage Academy says they take learning disability kids but that doe NOT include ANY autistic kids. They dont accommodate these kids as per the dean told me over the phone. So shameful, they actually bluntly tell you the truth. Regardless, they wanted to proceed with our entrance testing for my OTHER child for kindergarten and sadly I was so disgusted with their discrminatory practices, I took my $$$ elsewhere.

Worst school imaginable. Teachers are lazy and care about money. My 2 sons could have learned more staying at home. The math/science curriculum are pathetic and not at all challenging. Classes are overcrowded and administrative staff runs it like a preschool.

My sentiments lie with the March 6th posting - teachers definitely care about the free tuition. Overpriced for the education you receive - any parent who thinks otherwise has delusions of grand jure. God forbid your child has too receive financial aid - they definitely fall to the bottom of the pecking order. Preferential treatment correlates strongly with your finances.

To the Bocanite complaining about being called out for being late in her June 28th, 2013 review. Thank God that you are not taking your kids to this school!! I would remove my kids if you did. You're the obnoxious type that I despise and I don't want my kids learning from your rude behavior, arrogance, and bratty narcissism. Please keep your kids at St. Andrews and Boca Prep until they're old enough to run away from their obnoxious mother. AHA does not need your money, they turn down people like you all the time. They respect people's time and you did not respect theirs. No excuse! You should not have planned such an exhausting day for your child. It's your fault that you didn't schedule time for lunch because you need to live a high-paced neurotic life to forget how miserable you are. I feel sorry for your husband, if you still have one. Good riddance!

In response to the review dated 4/29/2012: The claim that Chinese students are being brought over on scholarships is entirely false; in fact, they receive no scholarships whatsoever and pay a higher tuition rate than American students.

My two children attend the Lower School, and they are thriving at AHS. I couldn't imagine a better environment for them. They love the school & everything about it-- the teachers, their classes, the special events, and the after-school enrichment. They don't even want to miss school when they are sick! I couldn't ask for a more well-rounded education for my children; from the academics to the fine arts programs to athletics, this is the kind of education every child deserves to have.

As a parent of two lower school children, I am very impressed with the education they currently receive at American Heritage School in Boca/Delray. Throughout the years my children have attended American Heritage School, I find the administration, teachers, and staff to be very engaged, compassionate, and truly invested in helping each child reach their full potential. American Heritage School provides my children with an exemplary education which is also enhanced with amazing opportunities within the visual and performing arts. As a parent, I am confident that the education they are receiving will help them achieve success in the future. In my opinion, American Heritage is an excellent school, and I would highly recommend it to any parent who wants the best for their children!

As a parent of two children at AHS (grades 6 and 4), I have found the teachers and staff to be both firm and fair. My children's teachers have been understanding of children in general while encouraging them to continue to grow as students and as people. I am confident that by the time my children graduate from AHS they will be prepared for the rigors of college.

American Heritage is great experience academically and socially for my children. The curriculum is motivating and challenging. The teaching staff and the administration are professional and caring. But, best of all my children enjoy being there and are happy to learn in this amazing environment.
