The principal is dedicated to her job and creates a very positive learning environment for the kids. The ADV community is supportive and most parents share the same ideals when it comes to prioritizing their children's education.

ADV is an awesome school. We love the small environment with caring teachers and an awesome principal. All the teachers and kids know each other by name. My daughter loves going to school!!!!

Our son attends ADV and this is the BEST school ever. It is such a nurturing, loving, creative environment. The teachers are top notch, the principal knows every child by name and they all truly care. I feel excited to drop him off at school everyday! And my goodness, the manners these kids have here (not only with adults but with each other)----it's amazing. As the post before me, I agree......the 5th graders are so kind to the newbees and set such a great example for them on a daily basis.

We love this school. Our son literally runs to his classroom in the morning. We could not ask for more. Great parents, great kids, great teachers, great principle. Loving and caring environment. This school goes way above and beyond academics. Children learn things here beyond what you learn from a book..giving, caring, dancing, sharing, singing, piano, art, the list goes on and on. My kindergartner begins his day with a high five from a fifth grader and ends his day with a smile on his face. The principle knows every child on a personal level and cares so very much. Every attempt is made to make each child feel special here.

I have a daughter in Kindergarten this year at ADV, and I have been completely impressed with the school. Lots of school functions for the family, wonderful parent involvement, and a great group of kids!! Greatest thing about this school is its smallness.....Love it that all the kids know each other!! Not to mention, an AMAZING Principal who also knows everyone by name and works around the clock to make this school what it is today!!! Only bad thing I can think to say is that it stops at 5th grade!!!!

The best public school option in Pinellas County! We did a lot of research before deciding to have our son attend ADV. And we've never regretted our decision! We love being partners with the teachers, administrators, and board in our son's education. We always feel like we have valued input into our son's education and that's awesome! There's no better feeling than seeing our son thriving in school. That's not only in the mandated curriculum, but also in all the extras like ART, DANCE, DRAMA, GIFTED, and MUSIC.

Our daughter has been attending Academie Da Vinci since 2009 and we have been very impressed with the school. We immediately felt welcomed by the teachers, staff, principal and families. We love the small size because the school feels just like a family. There s active family involvement and an active PTA. The teachers are very dedicated and truly enjoy working with children. Principal Ray is an extraordinary person and makes each child feel important and special. She knows each student s name by the first week of school and plays an active role in their lives every single day. In addition to outstanding academics, ADV offers dance, art, music, and physical education twice per week. We have Field Trips, a Science Fair, Fall and Spring Festivals, Art Shows, Winter and Spring Shows, and an End of the Year Picnic/Field Day. They even have afterschool clubs, such as Actor s Studio, Tech Club, Stix and Spanish Club. Our daughter goes to school every single day excited to learn and comes home from school every day with a smile. What more could a parent ask for?! Academie Da Vinci is the perfect fit for our daughter and our family!

I'm going to concur with the last persons statement. I had a daughter who attend ADV a year or so ago and my husband and I decided she wasn't getting anything more than the public school offered. We put her back into the public system and she did excellent. We were involved in a lot of the functions and PTA, but also felt like we didn't fit the mold like the rest of the parents. I really don't like to put a school down that has some great teachers, but like all schools there are some who get by.

our child got accepted this past year into the school and in all honesty we felt like we weren't welcomed into the click of their school. Our child has doen very well, but we decided in our best intrest and in our childs that we pulled them from the school. It seemed like a great place at first, but we didn't fit in too well. Our childs teacher, who probably is a good teacher, put a mark on them, and I have a felling it would follow them throughout their years if we left them there. They aren't willing to help if your child doesn't perform to their high expectations and also kids need time outdoors to expend energy and they don't get it very much.
