I absolutely love this school! I went their and all the teachers are wonderful. They do fun activities that enrich a child's mind. I recommend this school to anyone. The staff is well chosen and everything this school does helps a child learn. The PTO is very involved with the school and the principal is very kind. This a great school!

If there are any parents of a 3rd grader needing a tip on which 4th grade teacher their child should have; I am ecstatic to recommend Ms. Whitewood. I can not say enough about her. She is an incredible teacher! She is a nice person and makes the children feel at ease to speak with her, ask questions, and makes them all feel comfortable. She makes learning fun and it is obvious she loves her job and does it for all the Right reasons. I wish my child could have her in her last year at the school. If not, those of you who your child does get in her class, congratulations!

My daughter has been bullied 2 times here this year alone. Mama bear is NOT happy. PINEWOODS HAD BETTER OPEN THEIR EYES TO THE BULLIES. I will not go into details as to what type opf people they were... South Florida - You figure it out. Future gang members bringing their disfunctional metalities and lack of parental guidance into school with them. There is a lack of supervision when children are not in their classrooms. Clearly there is a situation that needs to be dealt with here. 2 times and we are only through the first quarter! I am sure that my daughter is not the only one. ALSO, I am not at all happy with the amount of school work that my children are getting or the opportunity to advance. I would be very concerned if we moved back to Massachusetts . My children may be behind. I once liked this school but I am really begining to despise it.

My Daughter is in 1st grade, so this is her second year at Pinewoods. I am extremely pleased with this school and my daughters teachers. They are caring, nurturing and excellent teachers. The PTO is very involved as well as a lot of the Parents volunteer their time. The Principal, Asst. Principal and staff are great. My Daughter is getting a great education here and I feel that she is safe and in good hands while at school. I would recommend this school highly as one of the best.

My 3 kids attended Pinewoods Elementary for 2 years before we moved to one of the top school districts in New Jersey (their new schools are all rated 9's and 10's by Great Schools). Two of my kids were in full-time gifted, one was just entering 2nd grade and tested in. Parents, worry not about the bad rep Florida schools sometimes get in other states (a statewide average doesn't mean that individual school can't be fantastic!) My sons proved to be perfectly well-prepared and on a par if not above par with their New Jersey peers. The only place they may have been a little behind is in creative writing - they've got great report-writing skills but have had to work to get the idea of creative writing, with various types of story openings, literary devices, etc. Pinewoods was a great preparation for all 3 kids!

I am very pleased with Pinewoods. The teachers and staff have been incredible. It has been a positive experience starting my child at Pinewoods and he loves it! You must remember it is not just the school and teachers who are responsible for creating a positive environment for learning. It is our job as well as parents to nurture the desire to learn and follow the lesson plans and homework to help our children learn and gain confidence in their school experience.

There is no better school for your child to go! He/She will be loved and cared after but the best teachers in the area. They will be safe and discipline will be handled fairly. They have a beautiful school with a butterfly garden, and a picnic area. Rest assured that you have made the right choice

I love this school. My son was a quite shy kid at beginning of his kindergarten. Now he has become a social butterfly. He has become confident. It is not only me but all our neighbor have also noticed the difference. I love his teacher MS Panucci who has instilled so much courage in him . She encourages him in everything he does. The principal Dr. Carlin as well the other staff is really good. I rate this school A+++++
