Creative Minds Montessori School

After a long, hard search - we have found a great school in Fort Myers! Being new to Florida and coming from PA and VA, the search for schools down here was very frustrating. This school, I feel, is like a hidden "gem" in Fort Myers. I am a reading specialist/teacher myself and have taught for 10 years. With my background in education I feel that I have a good idea of what to look for in a school. My daughter loves it here. Her curiosity is encouraged and the students are exposed to so many things. The teachers use all moments as teaching moments and respect and nurture each child. This is a very simple school - it does not have it's own building (it is 2 rooms within a church) but do not overlook it. I am just sad that she will have to move on next year and I have to go through the searching process again!

My son started this year for pre-k and he LOVES it!!! Our whole family loves it!! Ms. Jill is incredible! We know there will never be another teacher like her the rest of his schooling. My son is seen and heard. Our son's level of curiosity has always been high and it is really recognized and supported and encouraged at this school. WOW! WOW! WOW!

My daughter was a student for 3 years and she absolutely loved it. She is now in kindergarten but she still talks about the teachers and friends she made during her time there. She learned so much while studying there that she feels her kinder class is way too easy. She feels the work assignments are too easy because she learned them over a year ago so her teacher has actually given her extra work to keep her busy. Even though she is no longer attending CMMS, I am still an active volunteer and looking forward to having my 1 and half yr old daughter attend when she's old enough. The teachers are truly amazing and care about their students education and well being. If you are looking for an outside of the box type of education for your child, CMMS is the perfect place.

My Daughter Loves it here. Mrs Jill and Mrs Karen are awesome. Its a not for profit school with fair prices and great teachers. In the year she has been at Creative Minds she has learned so much and hates when its time to leave. She takes part in a free ballet class every week and for a little extra a music class. She has made some great friends I would highly recommend checking it out.
