Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Definitely is no a good school. In my opinion the school administration and several teachers are unprepared and unprofessional

DON'T THINK YOU'VE WON THE LOTTERY WITH THIS SCHOOL AND IT'S LEADERSHIP! I have the following to say and I represent it as only my opinion based upon personal interactions experiences and statements from my son who is now and has always been an honor student. Thought this would be great, but VERY DISAPPOINTED! Principal can be unprofessional, arrogant and dismissive when questioning teacher actions. Teachers have given tests which the students have not been adequately prepared for. My son took an UPPER LEVEL course but only got credit for a lower level course. Teachers have given arbitrary LOWER grades which seem completely ludicrous to you but, not to them. Principal selectively replies to parent concerns. Many public school classes are more challenging. FCAT Scores are the result of Parent Involvement, NOT superior course offerings or teaching methods. One teacher spent the year NOT teaching, just assigning and SOMETIMES grading projects pulled from the internet. Cambridge/AICE is just as effective as this program. Upper level administration appears to serve only as backstop for lower level employees. UNDERSTAND NOW that a Charter School is pretty much accountable to NO ONE!

Great school for a child that wants to be someone in life with the help of a parent that really cares. It's a very strict curriculum, so the school is not designed for a lazy kid with lazy parents, prom, sports, having fun with friends, etc is not a priority. Do if you really want your child to reach his/her full potential, send them here, it's a hard road, but it's free money for college education if you can make it, can't beat that! My 2 children are in the program and I love it! The oldest will be starting his senior year this year and has 48 credits in college, that means that at the end on his senior year, he would've completed his 2 years of college, all for free, including text books. Once again, it's only for kids and parents that really care for a better future and are willing to work hard to get it. Playing around is not an option.

I feel like maybe 10-15 years from now this will be a great school but as for now its robbing students out of the high school experience, promising things that aren't possible for each and every student and its a waste of time. They need to clos for a year get more staff and develop a plan. They're making things up as they are going and its screwing up the students and their education. Being someone who went to this school for a year and a half, I know from personal experience. Unless your child has no social life, doesn't want one and doesn't want to go to proms, homecomings, or games choose this school if not, don't. It's nothing they offer that other school don't.

This school has the potential to be a great school. The concept is wonderful, but from what I've experienced they are some lacking qualities. If your young student requires any motivation from inside or any push in the let's get it going dept, I didn't see it. I didn't see enough teacher/parent interaction until they decided my student didn't meet their requirements and they would like them to leave, so they can maintain an excellent record.

Excellent school...my student is going into his third year at this school. I wish more schools would use the teaching models they use. Great Staff.... Dr. Brian Botts is a fantastic leader for this school.
