I have 2 children ...one is already graduated from FPE and another in 4th grade. It's an awesome school and we love it. The teachers and staff really care about the students and it shows.

My 8 yr son is a student at this school, I thought we had to worry about the kids bulling. We all guessed wrong we also have to worry bout the teachers bulling to. Make sure u never tell the teachers at this school your child is adhd cause from experience they will be singled out and not listened to and blamed for everything. So beware

As a teacher at Fruitland Park Elementary School for 21 years, you will not find a more caring school in the state of Florida. Our teachers have high expectations and our students rise to the challenge.

I am very pleased with my children's learning at FPES. My children are in 4th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten. My oldest succeeded well on his first FCAT last year and I believe that it was partly due to his teacher really pushing the kids to excel. My middle child is not as strong a student, but is beginning tutoring on campus. He enjoys school, just doesn't understand some things. My youngest daughter is loving her teacher. The teacher makes reading fun and is inspiring a love for books. She is a very encouraging woman and my daughter wants nothing more than to please her teacher. Through the art class that is offered this year, my daughter has discovered that she likes to paint and loves working with oil pastels. My middle son has chosen to take part in the chorus and is enjoying that opportunity very much.

Our 9 year old son is in 3rd grade at this school and has attented it since Kindergarden. He has always had good teachers but in 1st and 3rd grade he has been lucky enough to have great teachers who are patinate about their work wiht children. The parent involvement could be better but those who are involved are wonderful and do so much to help make there childrens school a great place to learn.P.E is given two times a week, music, art, and computer once. I wish the children had more 'creative learning time' for I feel that music and art enrich children's lives and minds. But the school does the best it can with all the new guidelines for FCAT prep. We are happy with the education our son is getting.
