Eisenhower Middle School

I would think twice about sending your child to this school. My daughter only attend this school for about a month and I pulled her out immediately because of the constant bullying. Students are out of control. The teachers are no better they are rude and nasty and are no help when it comes to bullied students. This is not a safe school for your child!! My daughter is now home schooled and is enrolled in Florida Virtual. Florida Virtual is giving her the proper education and attention that Eisenhower Middle school was not giving her. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This is not a school you want your child to attend.

This school is a joke. I was supposed to be moving out of state and didn't think about school choice but when things changed and the school year approached I had no choice. Daily my daughter comes home and talks about someone bullying teachers are rude and they care more about dress code then educating my child. She's in all advanced honors classes and get good grades, but they would rather worry about what she is warring then giving her a decide education. On many occasion I have to teachers daughter vs. the teachers doing there job. She will not be goi g back to school there next year. Horrible school!

I do not know why people are making bad reviews about a Great school. This school is one of the best school's to put your child in. The teachers Teach you well. I'm an upcoming Eighth grader and this school is wonderful. The teachers know what they are doing and I am a straight A student there. Every school has fights so It is normal. I have been there since 6th grade and the total amount of fights I've seen were about 3. And they weren't even that bad. It's just that the people who want to learn come to learn not to fight or be troublemakers. All I'm saying is that Stop saying stuff about this school that is not even true. If you don't wanna go to the school, that is your buisness

Unsafe school: We moved during the school year and had no "choice". My son s whole attitude has changed. The school has fights multiple times daily, lock downs with no parent notification. It looks like a prison from the outside, high fences and armed guards, students in handcuffs (not exaggerating). The office staff is rude and zero parent involvement or communication. My son is a straight A student and a smaller kid. He started wearing a hoody over his head every day. When I asked him why, he said he was trying to disappear . In my opinion he has lost a year of education here. He will not be back next year if I have to home school him. If education and safety matter to you, do not let your kids attend this school. from a concerned father.

I Am really dis-pleased with this school. As a student there i bleve the school should have more electeves and teachers. i bleave that you SHOUDN'T have to sign out a sheet to talk to the counsilor. For instence, what if someone was being picked on and needed help right away. You need help then and not a month later! I can not wait untill this school year is over so i can be in safer environment then this school. I am not just saying this for my health, I am saying it because if you were to ask any student in the school what they think, they would reply with the same retort. This school is the WORST school i have ever been to in my life. I hope that you see this in a way to help and not to be rude in any way. I am a very nice person and only want whats best for the students at Eisenhower. Please get back at me with the thoughts you have.

I just moved here also and I completely agree with the last comment! The kids are way out of control the principle is never around, the teachers are rude and act like they could care less. I just pulled my son out to home school him till we can move next year..Beware of this school

I just moved into this area and i can honestly say This school needs work. The kids are out of control. The principal is no where to be seen. Its obvious that all the good ratings on this site are from the teachers. Parents beware

Eisenhower is great. You learn new things everyday but have fun at the same time. The teachers and Administration are very sophisticated and deserve the jobs they have. They're so nice! the lunch is great. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone. They strive for everyone to do great.

Eisenhower has been a blessing for our son. All of the teachers worked with us to make sure our son had a successful first year of middle school. Having a child with ADHD and signs of Aspergers, we were prepared for a nightmare, but everyone worked with our son and us to make it go as smoothly as possible. There were some issues with bullying, but every school is going to have that. When we discussed it with our sons teacher, they worked to find the other students and also came up with an idea to avoid it. The band program is fantastic! Going to miss this school and all the staff!

Our daughter has attended Eisenhower Middle School for two years and we couldn't be happier! This school has amazing teachers and a strong administration. They really care about the students and want to see them all achieve their goals. She has always been in the gifted programs and this school has done a great job in challenging her academically.

Based on my 6th grade year i will say that eisenhower isn't a horrible school but it's not great either. of course there are fights, every school has them, and the staff could use a little more training. I didn't see the staff threatening the students but they can be harsh at times but mostly you learn almost nothing. You can practically do anything and some people may enjoy it I know I didn't. I don't want a really strict school either but there has to be an in-between and eisenhower just doesn't cut it. I'm only in 8th grade now at Barrington Middle School so my memory of eisenhower is still very good. I left eisenhower after my 6th grade year. What eisenhower lacks in education and very "knowledge-able" staff it does make up for in "good-times" and friendships. Though those might not come in handy on the FCAT or SAT's. I would suggest you think about other schools before coming to Eisenhower.

i am a student and this is a unsafe school the science rooms are too small to do any experiments some sixth grader learn in regular rooms for science which are too small to do anything. there are too many fight drama. And yet the principle does nothing one the the vice principle is nice and friendly but the others too professional and the staff could be a little more friendly i do not like this school and i am a student it is unsafe!!!

noone cares there will be fights and bullying noone will care im going into the 7th grade there its hard enough tht i have to go there for 2 more years i hate the school i barely learn anythingthing the teachers r very threatning bad staff hate it!!!!!! >:(

i love this school! people say that Eisenhower is a 'bad school' but really it's not. i went there for 6th grade but now i go to Barrington middle school(the new school near Fishhawk) i DO NOT like this school. it is very dramatic & i learned nothing really. some kids had been so stressed out about the school that they actually have to go home crying. they give you iss for no reason. iss is really full almost all the time. i honestly wouldn't recommend your child to come to barrington.

Eisenhower made an A on the State rating scale. This was done by the leadership of Mrs. Collins and her staff. Most of the credit goes to our students! I welcome parents and friends to come and observe the classes to see what is going on. A school is only as good as what the parents, students, staff and community put into it. Join our SAC team, join our PTSA, join our volunteer program, and let us all get into the solution of what is beneficial for our students/children.

My son is starting his second year at Eisenhower MS and we couldn't be happier. Sure, there have been a few very minor issues but nothing major. Let's be reasonable, no school is perfect. It's obvious the Principal and AP's really love their jobs and really care about the education they are providing. They really relate to the kids (Mrs.Collins and Mr. Bobo are amazing). If you are an involved parent and treat the administration with respect, they will do the same and help resolve any issues you may have. Awesome school. Awesome administration. Awesome experience.

I have four children, three have unfortunately attended Eisenhower Middle School. I say unfortunately because each one of my three kids that have attended Eisenhower, had terrible experiences. They all were doing great in elementary and loved school. Then they went there and they took a nose dive. The teachers and staff are aweful. I had to pull them out because it got so bad. My 11 yr old is currently enrolled but i am looking for another school. I refused to let him continue to get bullied. The teachers and staff do nothing about it. I cannot tell you how many times i have tried to get help from the staff. My son that is going there now, he has missed two days already from being so sick to his stomach, fearful of having to go back. No child should have to go through such torture.

this school have the worse communication and they not organized, they only have good teachers.
