This is a top notch school. The teachers are extremely dedicated and experienced. They are the main incrediant here. The real only criticism is the age and condition of the facilities; especially the PE areas. A renovation is definately in order. However, the teachers have added a lot of dimension to the classrooms with an abundance of visual aids that takes your eye away from the condition of the buildings. It would also be great if Highway 98 was diverted northeast to allow the campus to be more connected; (and safer) Wonderful school!

Parents represent the backbone of Gulf Breeze Middle School. http:wwww.gulfbreezemiddleschool.org Our moms, dads, grandparents and community citizens actively participate in all levels of support. Many programs like mid-day math tutoring is exclusively supported by community volunteers. The library bookfair, library workdays, band support, make a difference activiites, PTO, School Advisory Council, School Climate Surveys, begin the year student folders and Spring Fling events are staffed and or completed by parent and community helpers Our school receives awards for such a high level of volunteerism. Without our volunteers the excellence that we have achieved would not be possible. It takes a village. Our parents and community give of themselves enthusiastically.

I have an ADHD child in GBMS, along with several other conditions that make learning extremely difficult. I can honestly say the teachers, ISE, counselors, etc, etc. have gone over and above attempting to help my son in any & every way. From the principal to every teacher he has, there is an open door policy, constant communication and a great repor, which I feel very blessed in having. It's just the best and even though I would like to leave this area, I won't because of the school system here!

I am a student at GBMS, and it totally rocks. I am in the band program, and I can honestly say it is the best in the county, maybe in the state. As for acedemics, I have learned so much. All of the teachers are experianced, most of them being with the school for at least 10 years.

The Academics are out of this world the level of communication with parent teachers is horrible as of the level of communication where failing grades and how we can avoid a rerun of the same grade is otroschous the school has an excellent band program however i was very upset to realize there is no chorus my kids like the school and i reality this is all that matters

Gulf Breeze is a very good middle school. The district could work with parent involvment but otherwise it is very good.
