This school has a new principle that is trying her best to acheive academics for Colbert's students. Will the teachers strive for better FCAT scorces? Will the kindergartens learn more challenging skills, such as, having spanish classes and reading classes. The kindergartens need to attend more strutured classes? What about agenda books, and reading challenges? The kindergartens are not learning enough :(
This school is beautiful on the outside, but needs more incentive programs for the children. Especially the Kindergarten classes. There is no Agenda Journal Books, Reading Challenge or Student of the Month for kindergartens. Plus, the children are constantly fighting when they get off school campus. Foul language is used by the children and this school needs security guards or police officers to make sure the children get home safe. All the teachers should teach on conduct and behavior everyday.
Although there is a brand new administration at this school the Assistant Principal last year, is now the Principal this new year. The Hispanic female principal and an African American male assistant principal have the backing of the experienced faculty. Good things are about to happen, and they will!
My daughter goes to this school and the teachers are awesome... They are dedicated to help the kids to succeed even do the limitations in the budget they are committed to give the best education to our kids
The Staff is Very Unproffesional. They provoke the children by saying things they shouldn't in their presence. Who's evaluating the Staff?
This school terrible. The students are out of control. They have no respect for authority. The leadership is poor and they support bad behavior and dont offer any incentives for good behavior. There is no consistency in leadership. The teachers are qualified however, are treated poorly and not recognized. This school needs work!
This school has come a long way and the magnet program that they offer is absolutely fabulous.
This school is awful, they need help with attendance, academics and overall management.
They need to work on the quality of work in the classroom and homework, especially on language the pronunciation of words.
