I really didn't think I could think less of this school or be more dissatisfied, but then I spoke to the Principal! WOW! He is extremly hostile and unprofessional! I have never been so insulted and angry! The teachers are not held accountable as the Principal and VIce Principal do nothing but cover for them and blame students and insult parents! My children came to this school this year with a history of good grades and have struggled her do to lack of communication between teacher/student and teacher/parent! The teachers are extremly unorganized, their is NO communication to parents on upcoming events or school work. Emails and phone messages go unanswered! We have met several times trying to work out the issues and the teachers simply do not follow through on agreed upon plans! And then are not held accountable! This school is shameful!

Please if you have a special needs child , please think about choosing another school. All children should be viewed as having value and be in a good learning environment with caring adults as teachers not people there to collect a paycheck.

IF you have a child with special needs I would suggest a different school district.

I have never, never, being so well treated as we (my children and self) are at this school. Not even once I had a disagreement or argument. The teachers are great, the staff very proffesional and competent; even the cafeteria people are sweet. We have been blessed with this school. They should be an example for other counties, especially PSL. thanks, NG9

The Jensen Beach Special Education program is nothing less than miraculous. The staff members are patient and caring. These highly trained individuals work wonders with their extraordinary students.

Unfortunately they teach down to the students. Parent/Teacher conferences are unproductive and very defensive. I would not recommend this school

Our son has been in the Project Child Program since Kindergarden. Now in second grade, I am totally confident he will succeed in third grade and beyond. The core teachers and related arts teachers teachers have been and continue to be supportive, great communicators, and terrifc probelm solvers. It is thanks to these teachers and the school environment that my son can read and enojys learning. I enjoy this neighborhood school, am pleased with the academics, the social activities, and look forward to sending my daughter in 1 1/2 years.

My child was reading since k-garden and now reading complete books in 1st grade. Communication is great between teacher and parents from assignments to the automated phone call we get to let us know what is happening. Parent involvement is great. I feel very comfortable that my children will be getting a good education and has a parent that is one of the most important things to me. Thank you & keep up the good work. Gp

This school has been a big disappointment. It is probably fine for most kids, but our 2nd grader needs accelerated learning opportunities which The county offered in the past at a cluster site or sister school as fulltime gifted classes but are now being cut. The county cut the full time gifted program this year(2006).So for another year my son will try to stay awake in his basic level classes. I can only hope they will restart the fulltime program next year. As the current gifted pull-out program is only one day a week. The only day of the week where my son learns anything. I can recommend only this school in contrast to most of the other public schools in the state. There are worse schools somewhere I am sure. However from an 'A' school I expected more.

We moved here the last 2 months of school, and this school has welcomed my 5th grader and I really enjoyed meeting the teachers. Everyone, including parents have been wonderful. Thank you.
