Handles bullying effectively: Neutral

Our school doesn't really have any bullying. And it's definitely not because of the school.

Supports LD students: Strongly disagree

Some teachers will give the information thoroughly and are willing to repeat. Which is good. But most teachers teach by giving the information, giving work, giving tests and quizzes, and expect us to just have it down. Not many teachers and administrators take into account that every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and needs.

Effective school leaders: Strongly disagree

- a
Again our administration is cruel and disrespectful to their students. Disrespectful as in they again, treat us like criminals and liars and barbarians.

Develops character: Strongly disagree

- a
Almost all of our administration does not respect the students enough to get respect back. They treat their students like they're criminals and barbarians. They don't trust us enough. Even though there are teenagers at this school that have more decency and respect then our administration. Its is shameful.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly disagree

- a
Don't get me wrong, there are a few cool teachers at this school. But many of them are terrible teachers. Some are too cruel and plainly put... bad at teaching. These aren't opinions, these are facts. Put together from background and experiences from many other students at this school.

Amount of homework: Strongly disagree

- a
Many teachers just shovel work into our faces. Most of the time we get no breaks from homework. And the homework we do get is never anything new. It's rinse and repeat.

- a
The administration is cruel and unfair to their students. The rules are too strict, especially the dress code. Their food is disgusting and unhealthy. And overall many of the kids look miserable in class.

Unfortunately my kids have had to move 3 times in 4 years and this is honestly the worst hs by far. The discipline policy's are insane. My daughter is dual enrolled and I needed to pick her up early to go to her professors office hours one day. She was unallpwed to return to school. Apparently you can only return with a doctor's note or a court order. A visit to your college professor does not allow your child to return to school. The guidance department is terrible. The kids are afraid to go and hassled every time. They are not helpful and act as if the kids are a disgusting bother. When you go to enroll, you will quickly see the rudeness in guidance. The arts department is terrible. While the chorus is very talented, the director is a horrid narcissist. The kids are in choir 2x as much as any other course including academics. This man also has them after school and will not even allow them to miss for a job. He can add practices and/or concerts and the children are required to attend or their grade will be impacted. The woman in charge of drama is an english teacher who has no background whatsoever in drama and it is clear. She is a mom of a student who she casts as the star of the play and appointed the president of the drama club. The remainder of the leads after her daughter go to her daughters best friends. Every club or sport has your child out on the streets hitting up every business in town for a minimum of 200 dollars in donations... many clubs a a lot more. The businesses have had it and let your child know. I have never been so dissatisfied with education. The security officers, janitors, and even the new principal are really good people who are happy in their jobs. I hope and pray she changes the faculty to value and want to help these teens. Thank God for dual enrollment.

The faculty do the bullying here. On a good note, the students are very accepting.

Develops character: Strongly disagree

That is done at home. The opposite is taught at school. The students rarely receive encouragement
