Jupiter Elementary School is a wonderful school with a close community feel. The principal and teachers all work together with the parents and PTO to create a family atmosphere while provide excellent education. This will be our second year starting next week and I am so pleased with this school. My daughter loves it as well and I am amazed how much she learned in Kindergarten dual language. It is Jupiter's best kept secret!
I wasn't sure what to expect from the beginning of the school year, but as time past and my daughter would look foward to going to school. I realized that the teachers are there for the right reasons. Ms Cardona and Mr Nardelli have been a huge blessing in in my girls life. They are passionate about their students and I give them and Mr Smith (Principal) the highest regard and I appreciate their hard work they have put into the students. As for the population of 54% hispanic, absolutely the majority of the kids will speak spanish only! Thats what makes JES so special, they are doing their best at teaching Americans Spanish and Hispanics English. I think they're doing a fine job at it. Also teaches the students a great lesson in cultural diversity, and that's something we need more of. Thank you JES, and my other two children will be on their way shortly!!!
I have two children at Jupiter Elementary School and have been there for 4 years. I absolutely love our school! The teachers are amazing. There are great opportunities to be involved through the PTO. We have a fantastic educational garden and a butterfly garden was just added. There are a lot of great activities for the kids through out the year. We also have a dual language program at JES in which the children have a half of day in English and half of day in Spanish. It is a lottery to get into the program for Kindergarten and children can be emerged into the program up to second grade. Wether you are looking into the dual language program or not it is a terrific school and you will have a great experience there.
Jupiters best kept secret! A wonderful school full of happy kids. The teachers care and work hard to push the students to achieve. My child has been treated with respect and kindness and is now graduating . We will miss this school so much! Everyone from the cafeteria staff , to the office personel, the teachers.....are so special, having been to a lot of schools I feel qualified to compare. The principle Mr.Smith is the BEST, he is always present and knows the students. If all schools were as great, we would have no problems with our educational system. Thanks So Much everyone at Jupiter Elementary!
This is our first year at Jupiter Elementary and we feel it is a better than average school. My child loves the teachers and doing the work that is required. With reference to the Principal, he has been a huge presence in the school and we appreciate that he is hands on. As for the additional staff, they are always willing to help whenever they can, even if it is interrupting them. They understand that is what they are there for. I have recommended this school and will continue to do so!
Jupiter Elementary School faces challenges in the community that some of the other elementary schools do not face, such as many children from non-English speaking families where at-home help with homework, is difficult, lower income neighborhoods, etc. I applaud the teachers and staff at this school for their dedication to all the children at this school.
I love this school! They are organized, the children have a dress code and are encouraged to succeed. I could not ask for a better school.
Great school, good education, the best teachers, and the best treatment not only for kids but for family members as well.
Jupiter Elem. Is a WONDERFUL school and I am proud to call my kids BRAVES!
Excellent school. A rated. Brand new building (only 3 years old). Teachers are nice, but it really depends on who your child goes with.
Jupiter Elementary is a great school. The school gained a new beautiful building in 2003. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The teachers care about the students and do their best to get parents involved in their children's school lives. They offer arts and music and have an excellent aftercare program.
There is a large number of students that do not speak English in the school. I felt this held back the rest of the students in the class.
Great leadership makes a great school & that's what you get at JES. Ann Wark is the best! She knows how important parent involvement is, and she does everything she can for each individual student. The entire staff at JES is good spirited and top notch. Other schools could take a page out of JES's book!
Solid school in South Florida area. High academic and athletic programs. College prep programs are excellent.
