This is an excellent school, with an exceptional staff. The programs (spanish, art, pe, music) are wonderful. The cost of attendance is kept affordable. The children are given all the attention needed, since the classes are small. The teachers and staff are easy to communicate with, and always available to help resolve any concerns immediately. All playgrounds, buildings, and classrooms are very clean. The curriculum is solid, and keeps the children challenged, but not overwhelmed. They offer a wonderful before/after school care. Overall, I have had my children in 3 different private schools and Community Christian the best!

Reflecting its name, Community Christian School provides a true community of students, teachers, and parents to guide children through their formative educational years. Intense individual attention at this small private school generates a supportive atmosphere for children and encourages active parent interaction both in and out of the classroom. The academics are solid (if not highly creative) and offer a solid grounding for young people. I wouldn't have my daughter go anywhere else.

Abeka curriculum is the best! We are about 2 years ahead of public schools per grade. Teachers are wonderful, intelligent and student focused. Love this school. There are no extracurricular activities except for one, parent organized scrapbook club. That could be improved upon, but it's very minor.

Ccs offers an excellent and comprehensive christian based curriculum. My daughter is in k-4 and also attended k-3. She is reading at level 1, writes her name and three letter words in cursive and performs math and science at an excellent level as well. There are special courses: pe, art, spanish. Volunteerism is paramount and very easy to do as the school welcomes it daily. I love this school! one of the best kept secrets....

This school provides a loving, Christian environment in a small town setting. The teachers are nice and the school administrators are helpful and supportive. They use the Abekka curriculum, which some people do not like - however, if the curricular approach is OK, this is a great choice for Christian education.
