I absolutely love this school!!! My two kids have attended this school since age 3 for ESE and than were place into there new ASD Program. The teachers have done a wonderful job with my kids. Everyone is very hands on and helpful. My children's teachers always go above and beyond. I would def recommend to any parent with special needs kids.

This school is HORRIBLE! Yes they may be an A school but you know what?? The staff and teachers are VERY incompetent and negligent. I have had issues with this school since day one. You report an issue and you never get a call from the principal/assistant pricipal. When you call back you are transferred to a voicemail. How can you trust your child in a school like this. I had to remove my child from this school. I also spoke with parents in my neighborhood and was advised the same issues. I will NOT recommend this school at all unless you flat out dont care about the well being and education of your very own.

Kin & 1st grade My daughter and nephew have attended this school for two years. In The first week they started, They lost my nephew twice. Meaning-we went to pick them up and they had no idea where he was. One time was on the fist day--another about a week later. My sister was in tears . My daughter attended her pre-k year in Miami Fla at a magnet school. If you are a parent that is very hands on in education and growing there full potential, You will be very discouraged. While i do find the main problem to be county wide, The staff there have been very unhelpful, rude, irresponsible and lazy. Curriculum is extremely weak. I have asked for them to make available to us options that will stimulate her a little more but, they are content that she stay bored. While Yet they use her to teach other children they neglect her education.

My daughter was a fifth grader last year at Reedy Creek and had the best year of her life! She loved the middle school like sturcture of her team with Mr. Rivera, Mr. Rogers, and Ms. Mastapha. I felt my daughter learned so much more at Reedy Creek than at her school the year before in New Jersey, and she couldn't wait to go to school everyday. Thanks Reedy Creek for being an important part of my daughters life!

My son is an ESE student in PreK, he had a wonderful experience last year in this school. His teacher Mrs. Raith and her assistant were very good to him. I wish there were more teachers like them. I believe they should be training any new teachers that come in to the system, so that we have much more awesome teachers. Thank you. Lissette Gomez

I have two girls in this school ( RCE ) and they have been there since grade K. All i can say is that this school is awsome. The teachers and staff are the best in Osceola Schools. Keep up the good work RCE! The only thing i have to say is that the Parent Pick-up line is too slow, there needs to be a way to bring that process up alittle. But other than that, this school is #1.

We moved here in november of 2006 and have both of my kids at reedy creek elementary.one with special needs that is in a pre-k program and one accelerated student now going into 4th grade.the teachers and the staff have been great.they helped the kids with the transition into a new school and made sure that they continued to do well in class and with their special therapies.they also took into account the kids disabilities and special education needs and made sure that they were addressed and that the children did well.i think that the staff really cares about the kids and their academic futures.the extracuricullar activities are great as well.i love the school and would recommend it to anyone.

School is need of serious polishing. The principal is too 'comfortable' in her role. She is too concerned with defending poor teachers.

The teachers at Reedy Creek Elementary (RCE) are polished and progressive. The school has a strong group of educators in the classroom supported by resource teachers in Reading, Technology, and curriculum. The school has a warm and welcoming atmoshere. RCE has a strong and dedicated group of parents who actively participate in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and School Advisory Coucil (SAC). RCE has the largest number of National Board Certified teachers in Osceola County. Twelve teachers at RCE are National Board Certified. RCE offers music, art, PE, drama, computers, and spanish in a special area rotation. Extracurricular activities include: drama, running club, puppet team, chorus and Oddyssey of the Mind.

Reedy Creek is an excellent school. Our experiences have all been positive. There are a lot of activities for after school, a great junior achievement program, and a high level of parental involvment.

My son is having a better year this year. I feel that he has a great teacher. Last year I was not very happy with his teacher. I feel that the school is improving, but could use a facelift.

My two sons have attended this school it has been a great school and they try very hard with the children. The only thing that needs to be addressed is there are too many children in the classrooms and they have too many portables.

We just moved here & I am very disappointed in this school. I don't understand at all what they are teaching or how they are teaching but my children are not learning anything compared to the previous school they were in. They also have barely any extracurricular activities going on for these children. Talking with any of the teachers does no good. I never had this problem with the previous school and am seriously considering putting them in a private school just to allow my children to get an education. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

We moved here from Boston about 8 months ago, just in time to start the 2003 School year. I have 2 kids, 1 in Kindergarden and 1 in the 1st grade. Since the first day at Reedy Creek, the staff and teachers have been the best. They helped my kids adjust to the new school easily. Thank you guys for all you help.

Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
