I had my kids there for 1 year and they did great all A's never had any homework and paid a ridiculous amount of money in tuition. I thought I was moving them to a better school as I quickly found out I was wrong. Not only did I feel there was a decline in their studies but also the enviorment. My kids shared stories of things that you hear about happening in public schools. I also witnessed myself this type of behavior from students and staff. I spoke with other parents regarding this craziness and several of us and not only pulled them out of school but out of the church. Money & Hypocrasy is the main theme with these people steer clear of them!! Havent they changed there name several times what is that about ?? Im glad that it didnt take us long to realize this is not the best place for my family.

I had both of my kids enrolled at Heartland (City of Life) and my experience was horrible. The only thing they care about is your MONEY. The principal and teachers look sweet, but the reality is very different. They don't care about your kids health issues or listen to your concerns. I even tried to go to the church and even there they were fake. They always say that the "commitee" is the one that make decisions, but the truth is that one person is the one that make all decisions. They treat nice the kids that are the children of the people working there (administration / teachers). I had my kids in another private school and my experience is great now. My kids are happy and learning a lot! Heartland or City of Life you guys taugh me that you guys are NOT a GOOD example of GOD!

I had my child enrolled at Heartland (now City of Life) for many years, The education standard has fallen, you would be better sending your child to a public school. There are many better private schools located near heartland that offer a better standard of education not to mention a better atmosphere.

My daughter has been here for 4 years and I strongly believe it is a warm and nuturing school for any child. I personally work in the public school system...and yes it has its pro and many cons. If you are looking for a school that helps build in your child a strong relationship with God, COLCA is the school for you. While feeding godly instruction, my daughter has grown academically without missing any core knowledge of basic education. You establish priorities in your child's life...I feed only to my students academics, academics, academics, discipline referrals, illmannered students with no respect to adults, parents and the knowledge of God is a joke. I pick COLCA anytime over public school or any other private school. This being my third child; and my others kids all have had christian school foundations; I think I speak with property.

I was a student at heartland for ten years. The school was my home. The teaching is very good for anyone and they teach you to have a strong realtionship with God. Going there really changed me and molded me into who I am today. Being at this school really helped me understande God and grow closer to him. They teach you to have good family value's and the teachers are willing to help the students if they need it. But its not the school that people should bring their childern to. You may ask why? Why wouldn't you if I've been saying all this wonderful stuff about it. Well they shelter you from what really goes on in the world. And they are hypocrites. They say that they are all about God but they don't accept and help confused children. They abandon all the students who really need their help.

I think this a pretty good school. It is my senior year there, and I have enjoyed going there. Just to tell the parents who said that highschool students were not academically challenged, we are!! I have to work really hard to get good grades.

This school is able to provide a really good environment for students, However if you want to challenge yourself academically you must go elsewhere. The school has a very narrow political mindset.
