Coming in to LPMS 3yrs ago was scary from all the stories we heard...but as you get to know the administration..faculty..staff...as parents we couldn't of asked for a better school for our child to attend... Only downside is there is only a handful of involved parents...WAKE UP PARENTS... your kids need you!!!

This school is fair. The teachers are willing to work with the students and do respond to the parents request/concerns.

Teachers and students at LPMS have a great level of support for each other. Most students are respectful of teachers, and teachers really care about student learning. School spirit is high, and the atmosphere is very postive.

LPMS has quality teachers that provide a stimulating and challenging learning environment. Being that it is a small school and the only middle school in the city, students are not just a number and teachers get to know them individually. They are encouraged to participate in many extracurricular activities. Parent involvement could be greatly improved. PTO only has a handful of parents & teachers that participate, but when events are held, we can get parents to attend. I think it is a great learning environment led by caring professionals. Scores may not reflect the aptitude of students due to the percentage of ESOL students.
