The Principal's point of view
Maria Wolfe, February 15, 2013
Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) has a very successful sports program. State championships in boys soccer and girl's basketball coupled with regional and district championships in all other sports contribute to the overall education at Trinity. However, our priorities are God, family, academics and sports. Your child will flourish in an environment that is authentic and without comparison.
My daughter is just finishing up her 6th year at TCA. Must admit that I had my doubts when we first sent her to TCA. However, glad to report that they quickly made a believer out of me. The administration, teachers and coaches have been such a positive influence in the developmentof my daughter. My daughter has excelled academically, a lot of the credit goes to the teachers that care so much about what they do. Would recommend TCA to anyone that is looking for a great Christian school education.

I attended this school for 6 years and graduated from it. I can honestly say that it was an experience I will never forget. I love this school. My entire class was friendly to one another and all of my teachers were great. I loved the diversity of students at the school and learned a lot about different cultures through the school's foreign exchange program. The teachers are phenomenal and have fully prepared me for college. Many of my friends were upset about receiving "hard English assignments" while in highschool, but every single student that graduated with me will all agree that college English courses are ridiculously easy for them now because of the wonderful education they received while attending this school. The new principal is a wonderful person with a good heart. She is determined and attends many school functions and assists students in any way possible. Although the teachers may not always be able to attend to every single students need right away, the school has provided parents with the option of private tutors to assist students when teachers are not available. Each student is given a chance to succeed, learn, and grow as individuals.
My son is thrilled to back in this school environment!! My son was at TCA for middle school and we decided to try a charter arts school for high school due to some of his interests. What a BIG mistake!! It got so bad at the other school that we changed schools mid year. My son was welcomed back with open arms from both the kids and the staff. My son has thanked us daily for switching him back to Trinity. Please be careful if you are considering trying other schools out there. We are so blessed to be back in this loving , Christian environment.

I agree with the last parent. I do not know that much about the sports program at Trinity, but what I do know is that the teachers are all on their high horses. You try to speak with someone, and they always say they are willing to help but nothing happens. Actions speaks louder than words. This school used to be a good school. Now it is falling apart. The demerit system is ridiculous. I don't know what happened with the old leadership, but nothing is the same without the previous leadership.

this school is a joke. my kid has been bullied since the first day at this school. this is not our first year, but we will not be coming back next year. the child that has been bullying our kid has never been disciplined and my kid hates going to this place every day because of that child. the school's entire varsity baseball team is made up of foreign students, given free tuition and board to win state and national titles, not one American citizen. now I'm all for helping to underdog, but come on... quite a few of the teacher's have an attitude problem. they are there to help the students, but when they ask for help, my kid was given the impression that they couldn't be bothered. don't bother with this place, it's a waste of time and money.

My 4-year-old daughter went to TCA for the summer break, because her elementary school doesn't offer summer camp. We had a great experience!!! All the teachers and staff are super nice! You can tell they love it there. The summer camp has a very small group of children so they all get individualized attention. The price is very reasonable and flexible. You have 3 options: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. You only pay for the days and hours you're there, and can also drop your child(ren) off as early as 6:00 a.m. I've looked at many schools before deciding on this one and I'm happy that I did. I highly recommend it!

TCA is one of the best decisions we have made to date as parents. Being in the public school we thought his education was short changed due to the focus on the FCAT and a lack of other disciplines in the curriculum. Trinity has brought back a renewed confidence in my child. He often tells me that the children at TCA are at a different level and he learns more because the teachers are wiser and kinder. Trinity took a timid, introvert and in one semester made him into a confident outspoken individual, in tune with his education and now discusses current events, history, literature and religious values. His regained confidence took him from a D to an A student who is assured of his salvation. The self confidence that now radiates from my child is priceless and I am forever grateful to TCA. He expressed to me that he is now exposed to people who really care and love each other and everything is great at Trinity. He feels comfortable and freer to express himself than in public school where he was being bullied but could not recognize it. My son wakes up and looks forward to going to school and wishes vacations and weekends were shorter. We highly recommend TSA to family and friends. SD

My 15 yr old daughter just finished her first semester at Trinity Christian Academy. I have never seen my daughter happier. The teachers truly care about the students and their futures. If my daughter doesn't understand something, they will work with her until she does. Amazing! The communication between teachers and parents is great! The Principal, teachers, office staff, coaches, and students are the best in Palm Beach County! I highly recommend Trinity Christian Academy!

My son has just finished 3 years at Trinity Christian Academy and I can tell you that they have been insturmental in molding my son into the fine teenager that he has become. When they say it takes a village to raise a child, well for our family TCA was that village! Every staff member went the extra mile to support, educate and give the very important spirtiual foundation he needed. The TCA staff go out of their way to facilitate open communication with parents which is rare in most schools. Prior to attending TCA my son had little spiritual knowledge so we were a little nervous about how he would transition, but they never were forcefull or in our opinion judgemental but did do an excellent job in giving him the tools to help navigate hopefully a morally conscious life. TCA Staff THANK-YOU and we will miss you all.

I believe this school has an excellent program. It is very balanced, great academics, good athletics, and a strong spiritual commitment. The diversity of the student body also attracted my family. They pursue excellence, not elitism. Over the years we have seen the faculty improved, the quality of the teaching and teachers stacks up with any program, public or private. Proof of this is the quality of the students Trinity produces. The students are happy achievers. This school is the real deal. Because of moving, our family attended 5 other Christian schools. Trinity is the best by far.

As a parent, I can not stress enough the value one receives when electing to send their children to Trinity. The students receive an excellent quality education with a wide range of exposure to the arts, sports and other social experiences. The school is a loving, caring environment with an emphasis on excellence both academically and morally. I have had the opportunity to examine and experience several other schools in the county and would never consider another alternative having experienced the wonderful program at Trinity. More value, less money, wonderful atmosphere, consistently excellent--what more could a parent desire for their children?

Trinity Christian Academy has been a blessing to my family since 1990 when my oldest son began at the Preschool. All 3 of my children attended all the way through HS and graduated. My youngest son graduated in May, 2009. Every program at TCA has been excellent. Even my son who had a learning disability succeeded and is in college. They also have top notch sports programs. State Championship teams and excellent coaches. I will never regret sending my children to TCA.

I believe that Trinity is an excellent school choice. It has highly qualified teachers, great Christian morals being taught, and the work is up-to-par with most of the best private schools. They do have a rather strict demerit system, but it is only in place to keep students in line and under control. Trinity is very family-oriented and is always striving towards a better education for your child.
I agree with the other parents the demirtt system in this school is way out of control it remains to be the main focus for the students. I pulled my children out of this school and put them in a public school and can tell you that they were way behind the other students...

My child started kindergarten at Trinity 4 years ago, after I checked out all the schools in my area both public and private for 5 months. Trinity proved to be the best choice of all. My daughter has test 3 to 5 grade level ahead on national standardize test. The school and teachers are great, most of the negative remarks on this site about this school comes from people upset with their demerit system. I for one am happy that this school does not allow their students to get out of control, regardless what grade they are in (k-12).

This school has a demerit system that is out of control. kids are given demerits for silly reasons. They spend more time dishing out demerits than quality education.

I've had three children graduate from Trinity and one is currently attending. My three graduates have gotten into the colleges of their choice with no problem and have gotten excellent scholarships.
