Dealing with the administration of this school is harder than dealing with the telephone company. The principal is always 'too busy' to contact directly and never returns calls when you try to contact her. G for private school

Excellent schools, great staff, and lots of parent involvement in this school.

Panther Run is a great school because of its teachers, administration, students and parents. There is a unified effort to make sure the students are learning in accordance with the Sunshine State standards and it show on the FCAT results for the school. The overcrowding that is prevelant in all Palm Beach County schools is certainly a factor here, but the volunteer network helps to make things work. There is a new principal for the 2003/2004 school year and she is committed to continuing the excellence in education that has been a long standing tradition at Panther Run.

About the tests

In 2013-2014 Florida used the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT 2.0) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading, 3 through 8 in math, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 4, 8, and 10 in writing. About the tests

Florida uses School Grades to measure the overall performance of a school each year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
