Oakstead is an amazing school. A lot of activities and family involvement. The kids are always challenged and special needs are met efficiently. I wouldn't change a single thing about the school. My kids have been here since Kindergarten and they have thrived, they are now in 4th grade. Go Otters!!!!!!

This is a great school. We have been at the school for 4 years. The principal and teachers are great. Lots of family nights which allow you to get to know the families. They allow parent involvement.. They keep the kids challenged. All around great school.

Oakstead has proven to be a great learning environment for my child. He's steadily excelled all year, with the teachers being able to adjust to his needs and challenge him on all levels. The staff and administration is fantastic, keeping constant open lines of communication. Parental involvement is always encouraged and is needed to succeed.

This is an excellent school! The administration is very communicative and supportive of parents and students. The teachers that are with my kids are top notch and are not apprehensive to tend to their needs. The inclusion team, particularly, is very professional and dedicated to my child's needs. There are a variety of extra curricular activities including a chorus and a book club. They have fantastic family events (like the Fall Festival and Otter Ball), which motivates kids to go to school. I highly recommend O.E.S.!

My daughter is going into first grade. We had a great experience last year. She participated in Odyssey of the Mind and absolutely loved it. Our team had lots of activities to get involved with your child, both daytime and evening so that everyone who wanted had a chance to participate.

Caring & Friendly Staff. Continuous Progress curriculum gives the children an opportunity to learn more if they are interested to do so.
