We love everything about this school! The principal has introduced some once in a lifetime opoortunities for the kids and as a parent, I've never had the chance to be as involved in a school as I am now.

most work is done in class but it becomes homework when not completed. My son almost always has math homework but it's never too overwhelming.

We love this school. We had apprehensions when applying for the gifted program because the school had a bad reputation but the school is great. My son loves it and the teachers are wonderful. I would definitely recommend this school.

Have had very bad gifted teachers , not interested in teaching , just give the hw and no time to focus on areas which kids need more help , teachers don't communicate back to the parents

a terrible place to be. fights break out at least once a day. people get jumped because they look at one of the people in the usual group of pants-sagging uncultured swines the wrong way. i can say personally that, especially in the gym locker rooms, since there isn't even a sound monitoring system, bullying is everywhere. the principal never leaves her office. people are issued referrals and other consequences, but they are almost never processed so that MFMS doesn't look like a bad school. us students are treated like trash, by both the staff (excluding most of the teachers) and the jerks running around everywhere. and APPARENTLY, it's more important to get a new microwave and stove in every teacher's lounge then to invest some money into bullying prevention programs, new television production equipment to replace the frayed and busted originals, or to fix the lights. honestly the three years i was forced to attend here were the worst three years of my life.

This school is full of bullies. I have contacted the school regarding my daughter getting bullied but no action taken. Fights everyday.
