Yes...I have a child with an eating disorder and no one has ever said one word to him about being different. His class accepts him and loves him just the way he is.

What a great school. The teachers, staff and curriculum are outstanding and our experience has been so positive. The teachers keep the parents in the loop and there is daily interaction through agenda logs.

St Patrick Catholic School is developing honesty, integrity and fairness each and every day in its students. The teachers and staff do a great job in setting the foundation by living by those same rules.

This school has helped to mission the Catholic faith that is transmitted in our home. Our children have been challenged to grow academically, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually by well trained teachers and staff. I love the unity experienced in the diversity of the children and families.

These values are taught through every subject. Also visible in the sports teams. These are strong Catholic Christian values.

The Catholic culture and the school faculty fosters respect. The student body is diverse and the children do not have the attitude of "entitlement."

Yes, a healthy persistence and determination but not undo competitiveness, again, do to the Catholic culture and the school's outstanding leadership.

The Principal at Saint Patrick's is not only a religious, but she has a lifetime of experience. One of the innovative programs she has implemented is the "buddy" program. When our child was in Kindergarten, he was assigned a 7th grade buddy. He looked out for our boy and I think this innovative program encourages the older children to look out for the younger ones and is one reason Saint Patrick's has such a caring culture and is free of bullying. Character development is a strong point of Catholic schools in general and especially of Saint Patrick's!

One of the best things about Saint Patrick's is its culture - the Principal is outstanding, and the teachers and parents care. One of the strong points of this school is character development.

Our children have been at Saint Patrick's since 2013 - it has been a wonderful experience. Academically, the school is outstanding (students from St Pat's consistently score in the top of their class at Clearwater Catholic High School and on standardized test scores). The Principal is one of the best and most experienced in Pinellas County and has implemented outstanding Spanish, athletic, and music programs. What really sets St Patrick's apart is its culture. The teachers and parents care, the student body is diverse and the children are building character, not just knowledge. In my opinion, character development is what education at this age is really about. If you want to get your children a great start in life, this is your school.

St. Patrick's is the best place for our kids. The principal is awesome and the teachers are very professional and caring people. It is a safe environment the has strong academics and more importantly to me, teaches our kids about Christ and Christian moral principals!

Fantastic School. I have 2 children who have attended the school since pre-K, they are currently in 1st and 3rd grade. They absolutely love the school. The school provides a top educational experience along with a great environment for the children. The faculty and administration are exceptional. We absolutely love the school.

It is a disgrace that this school is still open. The school is structurally falling down and the students are in danger of getting injured. The entire campus looks like it could be in a third world country. This school is located in a very poor and needy area, with section 8 housing, thugs and crime activity everywhere. This school is unsafe and not secured to the current standard. The bathrooms are filthy and the toilets are overflowing and disgusting. The Department of Health will not grant a permit for the cafeteria to operate. The parents either pack a lunch (most) or pay $4.50 per lunch for a horrible meal from Joto's pizza. There has been a mass exodus of students and quality teachers, and a high overall staff turnover. The teachers that have stayed are either buying time until they can retire or do not have the education level necessary to teach in the public school. PE, Music and Art have no curriculum and nothing new or interesting is learned. Please do not send any students here, do not make our mistake and look at all your options.

I sent my children to St. Patricks Catholic School and for the tution we pay, and what other Catholic schools have to offer in the area it's appaling that ST. Patrick is still open. Take the time and research, open yoru eyes and give your children a better education then what St. Pat's offers. Your children are worth it.

Saint Patrick Catholic School My husband and I have had children in this school for over 8 years. Over all we are content to have raised our family in our faith based, loving school. It is more than a school, it is also our community. The education they received was challenging to each childs needs. There were a couple of years that could have been better, but the next grade made up for it.

Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
