My daughter goes to this school. I love it. They have a lot of homework in Kindergarden and 1st grade but it helps build a good learning foundation. I would do anything I could do for Ms. Arhens, Ms. Osberg, Ms Kim, the owner Ms. Seawalt. I like the one on one the children get. My daughter is very smart but towards the end of the school she was having the I dont want to do my work so I worked with Ms Arhens and Ms. Seawalt and we made it though the tough time. I could talk all day long on how they try to work with each child.
I am very please with this school, my daughter loves it. The program is great, the teachers are good and eventhough its a little school, they really leave a good impact on the child. I love the fact that I dont have to worry about not having a place to leave my daughter when they dont have school and I have to work. They have fun and they learn in the meanwhile. Good priced and great service.
I enrolled my daughter in 4 schools this year, all public, she hated them all! I toured and had my daughter shadow countless private schools. I didn't expect much when it came to Camelot, boy was I wrong! I have found the perfect school for my daughter. She loves it and the teacher is excellant (Ms.Ozberg). My daughter actually likes going to school. the owner and director is wonderful and I have no fears about security . I have found 'diamond in the rough' and it's about time! I have a child who loves school again and it's well worth the investment!
Agreeing with the prior post I too am concerned for my children's safety. My kids have been attending Camelot for a few years, we were quite satisfied in the beginning, however, lately things seem to be falling apart. The lack of adequate supervision is definitely an issue.
My children have attended Camelot for 18 months. As a small school, it has the appeal of 'every one knowing everyone' and the director herself has one on one reading instruction with each child. My children have learned a lot and have made wonderful academic progress. I have recently become concerned about the level of supervision during playground time and the accountability of the staff when situations do inevitability arise; they have processes in place, they just don't always adhere to them and as a result, I've become uncomfortable that the safety of my children while at school is being protected. I am in the process of locating another school so I can transfer them ASAP.
