Thank you for taking the time to read the reviews of our school. Lutz Learning Center offers a very complex science based curriculum, with a strong focus on reading, cognition, logic, and leadership skills. Our goal is to keep all 125 of our Preschool and Elementary students at least two years ahead of their chronological level and maintain those standards as they progress through our program. It is because of the school's strong dedication to each individual child's success that we are wholeheartedly devoted to partnering our teachers, administration, and parents together to build the foundation of the child's education through top quality education in these formative years. We take great pride in the faith a parent places in our school in entrusting us with their child's early education each and every day. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education and have extremely high goals and standards to be implemented. It takes a team of amazing teachers and parents who are passionately devoted to the development of the child as an individual to reach those goals successfully. Despite our very best efforts, we will never be able to please 100% of the people 100% of the time. We strongly regret when this happens but encourage others to not believe everything you read in a review, there is always a back story that is never appropriate to air in an on-line forum. We are willing to professionally share our side of any review, just ask. Additionally, we adhere to and maintain compliance with all federal, state and county laws, these things are not optional. My child is in Elementary at Lutz Learning Center. I am continually impressed with all that goes on in this school. My student's teacher holds a Master's Degree in Education and operates her small classroom of students at an extremely high level. This year alone I have seen amazing growth. I love how technologically savvy the classroom is (IPad 2's and computers for research) and all the fantastic field trips the class attends every month (Lego Land, Busch Gardens, blueberry picking) to bring their learning experiences to life. I like the warmth of the school (the Mother's day Breakfast was wonderful) and that parents are always welcomed to participate in class events and activities. The school even has a chef that creates all the students meals from scratch and the meal plan is included in tuition!

We were so happy with this school for the first 2 years our child went there. Then they added the new part, rates went up and they ran teachers through so fast we stopped trying to learn their names. I never feel like our concerns are taken serious and we are just a check every week to them. I do not think this school is very good at all.

When we started at this preschool we loved it, but as time went on we noticed it was more of a money maker to the owner than a learning place. There are new teacher very often and the parents are never told by staff of changes in teachers, we hear from our kids. When we got to the owners with concerns, we are treated like we are stupid for asking questions. I can tell the staff is not happy working there. I think this place is toxic for children and teachers. They built a new K-5 school and it just feels like we are paying the cost for it. Our rate went up and we got nothing but babysitting for our money. Half the school year was wasted and it is time our kids will never get back. I would not want anyone else to have their child be bounced around like mine was, I just wish I would of taken my child out before all this lost time had passed.

Lutz Learning Center has been a fabulous place for my son. He started there in their VPK class. We (The directors and I) quickly realized that wasn't going to work for him. One of the director's offered to try him in the K class. It worked out fabulously. He excelled at the top of his class! I was so thankful that they were willing to allow him to advance instead of leaving him where he was. This school year, due to funds, we had to transfer him to a public charter school. Because of his age, he had to enter a K class. The school made no attempts to work with him or challenge him even after informing them of his previous year of learning. I came to the directors at LLC and they informed us of a scholarship we could apply for as well as working with us to get him back to a place of accelerated learning. He is SOOO happy to be back and we are grateful for the challenged learning experience he receives there. We also love the homey atmosphere and the chef onsite who prepares all of their meals, healthy ones too! They do their best to outfit the school with the latest technology, i.e. ipads, etc. My son is even taking French this year! We LOVE LLC and all the opportunities it provides!

This our first year at the school. The teachers and staff are kind and love children. They guild students to learn with gentleness and understanding. My child gets the attention she needs to excell! Our family is happy to be a part of Lutz Learning Center!

I was referred to Lutz Learning Center from a good friend who had both of her childrent attend the school. After visiting 6 other preschools in the area, this one was by far the best! I loved the open classroom setting, the stations/centers they had for learning and the fun activities and learning experiences they provided to all of the children. My daughter's teachers have been very easy to communicate with and I love receiving a monthly newsletter/calendar so we are prepared for each week. My daughter loves going to school each morning and is a very happy child when I pick her up. Since Day 1 she has loved being there and learning. I highly reccomend this school if you are looking for a school that is family orientated, looks at each child and their level of learning, and puts the child's needs first. Thanks to everyone at LLC for making this a great year!!

This school has a blessing to my daughter. After changing her school she comes home with a smile on her face and ready to tell me about her day. They are very welcoming to parents and parent involvement. The children are always learning from how a caterpillar becomes a buterfly to being entrepreneur. Lutz Learning Center has been the best change for our daughter.

LLC is an amazing school! My son has been attending LLC since he was 2 and he is now in Kindergarten there. We checked out about 6 or 7 schools when we were first looking and LLC by far surpassed all of the others. They really know how to challege your child and keep them constantly engaged. The kids learn by actually doing rather than just being shown something in a book. It is a very hands on approach to learning which allows the child to retain so much more than the traditional way. My daughter is 2 now and she has been attending pre-k there since August. Both of my kids LOVE it there. They always come home with a smile on their face which makes mom and dad happy to see!

Finding LLC was a BLESSING for my son as well as my family. Not only have we watched our child succeed but we have as well. This school has an open door policy meaning if u have a problem discuss it or if u need help ask and they WILL TAKE THE TIME to do whatever they can.My child is in pre k but is on a 1st to 2nd grade level. We are constantly asked by other parents why our son seems so far ahead of other children and we can only give credit to LLC.There teachers take the time to work and care for their students. Some might say it's a little pricey but isn't any PRIVATE SCHOOL.If I had to complain about anything it would be that they only take 2yrs old and up because we have a 1yr old and I CAN'T WAIT till he can go to LLC.In my opinion this school EXCELS because of the environment, staff and owners as well as the outgoing support from all the parents.Don't believe what u read or hear go see for yourself and make your own choices. When your child blows your mind from their days experiences you will understand why its so GREAT. FYI...if u read the bad comments and what was said by an adult about a child u will see A ROTTEN APPLE doesn't fall FAR from THE TREE.

Lutz Learning Center is an awesome school. Over the years, all four of my children have attended LLC. My youngest son who is in the first grade is currently learning French and computer technology, as well as all the core classes for that grade level. My family and I love Lutz Learning Center. We feel that the directors and teachers are devoted to providing a solid education to the children they serve. My son is extremely happy there, he loves his teachers, the staff and has made great friends. We are able to see his excitement when he learns new things, As he would say, my school 'rocks'. LLC has recently completed a building expansion project. And it looks totally awesome. We look forward to many more years at LLC. A true place to learn and grow.

Very Happy Parent! My son is in his second year at this school, he will be entering their Accelerated VPK class this coming school year. I am more than impressed with the school, directors and teachers. I would have to strongly disagree with the other 2 ratings, the set up is different but it works! I constantly receive complements on my sons vocabulary and behavior, he is at and above the level of most 5 year olds I know and he is only 3, Lutz Learning Center is a great school and I would recommend it to any parent I know, actually I have.

Not impressed. The overall layout of the school was too cramped, and I found it hard to understand how any advanced learning can go on with all the chaos. Understaffed for the amount of money it takes to send your kids there. In this case, you don't get what you pay for.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
