Merritt Island Christian School

I went to MICS for 13 years. The best teachers there are now gone. This school forces a student into the Southern Baptist Christian relgion and does not answer questions outside of that. In addition, anything that happens outside of school can be punished by the school (this includes hearsay). Unless there is enough money to donate to FBCMI, then it will be handled quitely. Don't dare to speak your mind or look outside the box - that is not encouraged. This school sets a good educational foundation for the younger children, but when it's time to spread your wings and fly - fly out of here.

An excellent school with a strong foundation in Christian values and academics. Teachers place more value on creating a well rounded student over a paycheck, and it shows. They also offer competitive play in a number of sports and work with upper school kids to provide dual enrollment and honors classes with emphasis on college placement. We have been with MICS since pre-school and plan to stay through graduation. What a wonderful experience we have had over the past 10 years, with 10 more to go!

MICS is very compasionate about our childrens educations. All of the teachers and vaculty are excelent!!! If you can send your child there, I highly recomend this school!
