The Best Montessori school in Miami Dade. Great management and great teachers and great campus = great School. The security is also unbelievable. All four of my children have gone to this school and I never worried as they were always in good hands.

This is a GREAT school. I am so grateful that there exists a sanctuary of learning and respect within our Miami Beach neighborhood. Every day when my husband and I drop off the children I know they will be safe and well cared for. Through the Montessori process and the thoughtful educators, my children learn respect and feel respected. They develop a great sense of accomplishment and self-worth through their lessons. Their scholastic advancement is immeasurable and never stops amazing me. As a physical space, Le Petit Papillon is an outstanding model for any school. There exists a positive energy by way of a natural setting that is inviting and warm. It elicits a happy feeling in anyone walking about. In that sense, I have always considered your talent to be nothing short of spectacular. The financial effort my husband and I make to send our children to LPP is in every way, worth it. I consider the education they are getting in these primary years - in the wonderful environment to be the best form of insurance for their future welfare and success.

Beautiful school with Poor management. This is run as a for profit corporation. Customers that ask questions, seek improvement are not welcome. Teacher rotation is non-stop. Our son had two assistants leave during the year which affected him. They did not even explain anything to the childeren.

I am pleased to announce that Le Petit Papillon Montessori School has been selected for the 2011 Best of Miami Beach Award in the Montessori Schools category by the US Commerce Association (USCA). This selection as a 2011 Award Winner is a reflection of the hard work of not only the Head of School, but of many people that have supported your business and contributed to the subsequent success of your organization. Congratulations on your selection to such an elite group of small businesses.

It is a beautiful school, the montessori materials are as they should be BUT the most important which is the teachers rotate a lot even during the school year. No one wants to stay year after year because the administration and head of the school are completely unprofessional. The montessori system is not respected as the classes are not multiage as they should be. The parent teacher relationship is close to none existent because it is controlled by the head of the school. Just beware that what you see does not reflect what really goes on inside the school.

Dear LPP Staff, I just want to say thank you for all your help and good care you offered during this year to my daughter. I am also very happy with the teachers. It is very impressive how much my daughter has grown and learned. They heave helped me reinforce all the values and principles I teach and practice at home, they have filled my daughter with knowledge about different topics and subjects. All the teachers and after school teachers are excellent at what they do. This has been a great school year and I am very proud of her. I am very happy for being part of Le Petit Papillon.

I am a parent whose son is in the Elementary program at Le Petit. This year has been such an amazing year for him and from what I have observed for the class. Having gone through the program from toddler to elementary I have found the teachers to be amazing experienced Montessori teachers. This year, my son has what I believe is hands down the best lower elementary teacher in the community, she s smart beautiful, kind, warm and a true Montessorian! My son loves going to school everyday and loves to learn. She is patient and full of knowledge. My son and all the students have grown so much this year. I especially commend the head of school for developing a program that is QUALITY!! The campus is beautiful as well. We are looking forward to returning next year and many years to come!

I am so excited to share that I have completed my first successful year here at Le Petit. Thank you! It has been a pleasure to be part of such a great team! It's nice to have finally found a home here. This has been truly a teacher's dream. The classrooms are so enriched, I have everything I want or could need to engage the children. I am especially grateful that I have had the opportunity ti work at such a great school at this point in my career. I am a multi-certified Montessorian working on my second degree from the University of Miami so I need to stimulated mentally, and I am happy to say I am! The Head of school is AMAZING. She is so supportive and has encouraged me to grow in ways that I didn't think was possible. I am so Happy to be here and I look forward to returning next year!

I am a former teacher of Le Petit Papillon and I LOVED working there! The only reason I left was because I had to move out of state for family reasons. I miss it terribly! I have never had more support from fellow staff members, and especially from the Head of School. She would make sure each teacher had the classroom environment of their dreams! She went above and beyond her duty to personally assist her employees and each family enrolled in any way she could, always striving to do what was BEST for the CHILD! Academically, this school prepares children to a level well above the traditional grade-level equivalent. But one of the most amazing aspects of the school is its focus on a curriculum of Peace, teaching children to love and care for one another and the world around them. If a parent communicated ANY concern, it was addressed THAT DAY either by phone or by scheduling a meeting face to face. My only regret is that my own children do not have the opportunity to attend this school and be a part of such an amazing educational experience!

Le Petit Papillon was founded at the threshold of a new millennium with the vision of providing stimulating and enriching education to the children of Miami Beach. Ten years later, we have accomplished this dream and have scores of fulfilling memories to cherish. Every school year we have the privilege and pleasure of watching a new group of sparkling, adorable, intelligent and curious young people as they discover and interact with the world around them. Most are returning students, and it is amazing to see how much they have grown and accomplished. Some are brand new students, and it is a highlight of our year to meet these special new personalities and enjoy the unique and vibrant energy they create at our school. Our teachers and office staff do their best to provide engaging materials and absorbing subject matter to give the children the highest caliber of education possible. Our beautiful campus has received exciting new additions this past year: Twelve state-of-the-art Macintosh wide screen computers, a multi-purpose basketball court, a verdant soccer field and two lovable peacocks. Our indoor and outdoor environments provide a homelike and fun learning environment.

My son attended this school for a year. From the first week I wanted to switch schools because of the way he was treated and the way the head of the school treats the parents. Head of school is extremely disrespectful to parents and acts like she's doing parents a favor by letting their kids remain at Petit. Communication between parents and teachers is strongly discouraged. Very high turnover of teachers and assistants. Also does not follow some Montessori methods- what Petit called the lower elementary class last year did not include multi-age groups, which constitutes one of the basic principles of Montessori teaching.

My son attended this school for summer and I think it lacks professionalism. Poor way to teaching kids and also very lazy the teachers and assistants.
