Miami Carol City Senior High is one of the best schools that you would want to go to if you want to really experience hands on activities in your carrer choice such as law, cooking, etc.

you see i am now i a Junior at miami carol city senior high in this year of 2009 i can to say that the school needs work and some of our securiy people do to bbut hey good things do come out of our school. people afre trying to make it seem like iot don't but it does.

I loved carol city the band the teachers: Mrs. Walker, Coach Torres, Coach MCchale, Mrs. Maartinez, Mr.Adler Mr. Beck-Band and Mr. Hylor-Band I had so much fun. The teachers are truly what makes a school no matter what grade it recieves. I graduated 2004 and 80% of my class went off to college.

When my child attended this school he experienced some of the best programs in an inner-city school. Since he has went there he has been having A's & B's. There is only two things I experienced was trouble wit the security and how the school was poorly taken care of.

Miami Carol City is not the best school the city, but when I attended we had some really wonderful teachers, that truly cared. I remember a teacher name Mrs. Piccioto, (Language Arts), who was a wonderful teacher as well as roll model. She helped me out a lot in school, and when I graduated, and joined the military she wrote me letter in Iraq. I will always love her. Really no matter how behind any schools get in technology, or cleanliness, the teachers are what really matters. All a student needs to succeed is one educator to say, 'I will not let you fail'. And i found that at Miami Carol City Senior High.

This school is absolutely terrible. It is smelly, dirty, and has horribly behaved kids. The maintenance needs to step up their game as well as school security. There is way too much violence.

Carol city is one of the most dirtiest schools I've ever attended in my life the floors no matter where you are seem to be coated with dirt.The bathrooms are deplorable and seem to always smell like urine or escriment.Somthing should also been done about the security being that students and strange street dwellers alike are able to come and go as they please. The school is retched in other word however if would like to potentially cause serious trauma to your child send them to carol city, however do not expect a bright future or anything else from your child for that fact.

Carol City High school is the best, I am talking from experience. I attended to this school for 2 years and I learned so much. They have a GREAT band, awesome football team and spirited students. But besides all of the fun things, I have learned a lot at this school. Most of the teachers are dedicated to their job and really want to help out the students.

The security needs to be overhauled. The school's atmosphere felt like that of a dungeon. The office atmosphere was very very depressing. The entire school needs to be literally torn down and rebuilt.

To me Carol City high was never a good school. They always had something wrong with there ways of teaching. My daughter went here and I never recieved good grades from no matter how hard I tried to help her in school. I only got bad results. Before she started attending here she was a striaght a student and I was really surprised to see her grade fall so dramatically. I would never reccomend anyone who wants their child to have a future to send them to Carol City High.

My daughter has been a Miami Carol City for 1 year. She has experienced a okay year for 9th grade. She had teachers that took a great interest in her. My daughter is a very rounded kid and very involved in her studies. There is a lot of speculation about inner city schools. I can say that she and her teachers did a wonderful job last year.

I believe Miami Carol City High School security needs to be improved-because students are be able to leave the premisses-which is very unsafe.

I think that the school should send more information slips to the parents notifing what is going on.

I think that until someone stands up and does someting to change these statistics, they need to leave the school alone. Everyone wants to get down on predominantly Black school, but they don't really care.
