I regret registering my kids at this school. Severe bulling issues and lack of discipline. Some teachers are excellent, but the administration is terrible. They don't know how to handle the simplest problems. The bullies' parents are friends with the school administration or priest and they let them get away with anything. I do not recommend Our Lady of the Lakes to any parent that is concerned with education and a healthy social life of their children.

I also withdrew my kids from Our Lady of the Lakes. My oldest graduated from the school years ago, and unfortunately under this administration, my younger ones are not thriving in the same way. The principal has socialist views, and can not speak publicly without insulting everyone in the room. The assistant principal serves as a part of the office staff, never greeting parents or interacting with the children. The treatment to most of the parents that have carried that school financially for years is deplorable! I have actually had the assistant principal roll her eyes at me! Basically this school has NO DISCIPLINE plan for the kids or parents! The administrators turn parents against teachers, teachers against teachers, and teachers against parents. . A GOOD SCHOOL GONE BAD BECAUSE OF TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! The two administrators and the priest are not AT ALL involved in the kid's lives. the office staff is a bunch of neurotic women who treat everyone rudely! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL! Everyone is miserable! The wonderful things that I remember about Our Lady of the Lakes no longer exist., not even something as simple as the library! My kids will be going elsewhere!

OLL is an excellent school. The Administration, teachers, staff, and parents provide a strong, balanced academic, nurturing and spiritual environment. I would highly recommend this school to all that are looking for excellence in a Catholic education.

OLL is an excellent school! I have been in the school for 7 years. It is a school that shows leadership and a great foundation for our Catholic faith. The teachers and administration are warm. I am very happy with the school.

My oldest child has been going to this school for 7 years. It is a school that shows the foundation for the Catholic faith as well as the tools needed for education for the rest of their school years. It is a great school.

Our Lady of the Lakes is worth every penny. It is an investment in the future of our children that definitely pays off. I have two students currently in the school, one in Middle School and one in Elementary. In addition, I have an older child that graduated and is now a sophomore in high school and doing extremely well because of the foundation and challenging curriculum she experienced at OLL. It is also a community where catholic values are not only taught but lived daily. Children learn that every content area is tied to our faith and to the good we can pass on and be for others.

Best school ever, the new priest and the new faculty is top notch, they even have 3 baseball teams for 3rd grade thru 8th grade that play other schools in the area.

This is a terrible school. If you are not in the "parent click" they discriminate against you especially in 5th grade. I have never seen that at any other school. The boy scouts are a disgrace. The father who leads that is no role model. They need to put a stop to allowing parents in the school to pick up their kids. They stand around gossiping seems like they are the ones in school.

I graduated from Our Lady of the lakes last year. My siblings still attend the school. I had straight A's in middle school, yet when i entered high school i felt COMPLETELY UNPREPAIRED. I still have that feeling. Our Lady of the Lakes, yes, is a fun and family oriented school. But, its curriculum is not strong enough to prepare a student for success in highschool. :( freshman year i am doing poorly, but i really am studing very hard.

Our Lady of the Lakes is not only a school it's family... the best decision I've made for my children's education is putting them in this school! The teachers are the best, they go above and beyond for the students. I look forward to the years ahead!! =)

I am very happy to have two children attending this school. The education, discipline, and staff are outstanding. It is wonderful to have my children learning about their faith as well as receiving great academic skills. Everyone from the students, parents, teachers, even the maintenance and cafeteria workers make this place feel like home, it is a family and God is in the center of it.

As a parent with two boys attending OLL, I am very happy and pleased with the stability the school seems to have. The school has turned the corner and is focussed on spirituality and academics. What more can a pernt ask for. The school offers something for everyone. Parent involvement is second to none. I am very happy my sons attend there!

Our daughter attends OLL and we are pleased with the academics and the overall environment at the school. The whole school staff is great, accessible and diligent when you approach them looking for feedback and guidelines. It's great environment for your kids to be in, and transparency is part of their dinamics....they walk what they talk!

Our Lady of the Lakes is the perfect school for parents who are looking to place their children in a family, loving environment. Children here not only gain academically but also on a spiritual and emotional level. The school allows for moms and dads to play a big role in the children's school functions which I treasure dearly. It's great to be part of this family.

As a parent, I believe that my children are receiving the best education that a parent could ever ask for. I am truly blesssed to be able to have my children attending the school that I work. I as a parent can see that all the teachers at OLL are doing their best to ensure all children receive an excellent education, both spiritual and academic.

Our Lady of the Lakes catholic School is definitely a home away from home for my children. I have the peace of mind knowing that I am leaving them in warm, caring, safe, responsible hands that will watch over them during the school day. The faculty and curriculum challenge children to push themselves to achieve the best they can and then a little more. All faculty and staff are open to parents and to working as a team and are easily accessible via e-mail. As a parent, I can actively participate in my children's classrooms, school events, and even church events. It is definitely a great place to grow and learn and be part of a great family!

My three daughters attend this school and I feel very blessed that they are being taught by very loving, kind and patient teachers. I also love that parents can participate in organized crafts and family get-togethers as well as occassional field trips.

As a new parent at OLL, I am so pleased to see the Christian faith implemented in practical ways. My child came home singing a Thank you Jesus, song and my heart sang with joy. I truly believe that Faith is a necessary tool in our society today. It is truly a community of caring parents who share values, moral standards and care for their children. I am so very fortunate to be part of this community. I know my daughter is in the right place!

Our Lady of Our Lakes is home away from home for us. I have already had 2 children attend which one is in college and the other is attending graduate school. We have gone through many bumps, but the school has improved 100%. The principal is fantastic, and the quality of teachers has improved. The safety of the school is superb.

If you want to feel like part of a big extended family, and know that your child is safe, happy and at home, this school is for you. I have been a part of the OLL family since 1996 and my oldest child graduated in 2002. I currently have two more children there and wouldn't dream of having them anywhere else.

As a parent of a current student at Our Lady of the Lakes, I am very pleased at the growth, vision and direction the school is moving towards. This is a credit to the fine faculty and administration. They do all they can to challenge the students both academically and accommodate their best intetrests. The School boasts an athletic program and dance program that is perennially ranked at the top, competitively speaking. The art and music departments have promoted our children through art exhibits and concerts in the community. Overall, what is more important than the formation and development of our students Christian faith and moral values.

I have two daughters, my oldest graduated last year and the youngest in currently going into 7th grade. I have been very happy at OLL. Both of my children have been very happy as well. It has become an extended family for us. I believe in the school, in its academic programs, and in the religious formation provided there.

I attended OLL from K - 8th grade, and I felt prepared for high school. The math, computer, and religion department especially gave me an extra advantage in hs. I began hs taking mostly honor courses and graduated in 2005 taking all AP classes. I have great memories, teachers, and friends that I cherish from OLL. I would only wish that they would have had an after school ministry focused on the students so that they could grow even deeper in their faith in the Lord.

OLL is by far a school that encourages children to daily challenges they will need to face in the real world. During our 8 years at OLL the only negative thing I could say is the # of students to a classroom. But, that is a parent speaking who has always wanted the best for their daughters. Of course, there is always room for improvement at any school your child may attend. But, I can certainly say my daughter's will graduate from OLL with a religious belief that no one will ever take away from them.

Simply a beautiful school. A good academic eduction is needed but a catholic education is even more important. Without God in our lives, we have nothing.

Our Lady of The Lakes is unfortunately, mediocre at best. I feel its' curriculum is not challenging and that basically, only the minimum is covered. The teachers stick to teaching only the text book and don't really supplement with any other materials. I feel it's something anybody could do. I do, however, feel that there is a lot of parental involvement and that the parents do much for the school in other areas. However, when it comes to academics, I don't see much interest from parents which is reflected in the dismal attendance of meetings to address academic improvement. I'm now considering switching my son after only 2 years.

The school strongly encourages parent involvement. The kindergarten promotes self-reliance and independence. There is a well rounded cirricculum, including spanish, art, music, phys ed, etc. We highly recommend it.

We are very happy with OLL. From the Principal to the janitor, everyone cares. Teachers are all certified. They lead by example & work as a team. Unfortunately, classes are anywhere from 28 to 33 students. Father Murphy is our spiritual leader and he does an outstanding job. Mrs. Sweeney is our principal. She's assertive, fair, and easy to reach.
