Bob Graham Education Center

This school is fantastic! Our kids are in the "Team Program" and are eager to go to school evety day. Teachers stimulate their brains in many ways each and every da. They are critical in having the parents involved... which might make all the difference when comparing to other schools/teachers that do "just enough". They pulled many of the best people from PSN when they opened and though struggling due to govt cuts like many other public schools their creativiyy and dedication to the kids puts them in an A categoty with us and 99% of the other parents we know.

I am happy with the overall experience of having my child at BGEC. The school is well kept and thank God no big problems have occured. abouth the ONLY bad thing my child has encounter was the fact that being in middle school if he forgets his lunch..he was told to put his lunch back and settle for milk and cereal (at that age thats noe enough) the left over lunch must go to the garbage..so why not give them a chance and give them the food. I complained but they said they could not do anything because the cafeteria had their own rule. VERY wrong since we pay sooo much taxe and $2.50 is not going to close the cafeterai down..it's not thier child coming hhome with a migrane after a day of only eating cereal..

I have two daughters in this school, both have attended since kindergarten; the oldest graduates this year from 8th grade. This is an excellent school. There is a mandatory uniform policy which is enforced (at times a little too much), the student body is of very good quality. Althought I am sure fighting and drugs exist, my children have up to now never been exposed to either (thank God). I see children that respect their peers (special ed kids are not made fun of, for example) and their teachers. Through the years I have seen and known many high quality teachers (Mr. Millares, Ms. Ottaviani, Ms. Ruiz, to name a few) and some not so great ones. But there is good communication between teachers and parents and a sense of wanting to do well by the kids. The school is in a great neighborhood and is therefore always trying to weed out children who should not be going there because they do not live in the zone, so it is always fighting overcrowding. But overall, administrators do a great job in keeping everyone in line and listening to parent input. I highly recommend this school. It is not just a public school. It is an A+ school.

My son has been attending BGEC from Kindergarden and all I have are great things to say about the school, faculty and education. I am happy to be a Bobcat parent!!

I have gone to this school ever since I was in Kindergarden. And sadly this will be my final year in the school. The teachers are amazing!! and the students are incredibale people they make you feel like the schol is a home away from home. I would reomend this school to any one. I truly love this school

I recently Graduated from BGEC class of 09. i started off at BGEC in the 4th grade. i have to say i am so glad i went there. The electives & sports were great. The PTA did everything for us. we couldn't ask for more. The school dances ; Like Prom, were awesome ! I loved this school & i highly recommend it. The teachers were very helpful & Cared about us dearly. Although some teachers in particular were a little off hand. But other than that, its a great school ! Go Bobcats !! Class of 09'

This school is unreasonable. I have taken both my children out of this school and moved out of the area. The sad part is that at first i thought it was my dauther, then i received complaints about my son. This school and its teachers are rude and unreasonable.

Overall I am extremely happy with the school. I have two children there whom I transferred from Catholic School. Best decision ever made!
