Miami Springs Middle School is a gem in the community. The school offers many advanced and honors placement programs for students of all intellectual ranges. The Science, Engineering & Technology Magnet provides hands-on opportunities to integrate students' love of science into many subject areas. The incredible variety of elective choices is one that few middle schools offer. In fact, it is the only middle school in Miami-Dade County that offers all middle school sports throughout the school year. A large number of staff and teachers reside in the community and their own children attend the school. That alone is a testament to the high educational standards provided at Miami Springs Middle School.

This is a terrible school. Its too overcrowded. Teachers dont care about the students. They dont take bullying seriously. My daughter was bullied there to the point were she got mentally ill, and the worst part is that they baker acted her, which was easier for them to that than to find the bully and put an end to it. Staff at the administrative office washed their hands and didnt admit they handled the case wrongly. Worst school in Dade County

I have to say that this school has really taken an about face. Principal Mason has turn the school into a really great place for students to learn and thrive in! The staff is friendly. The PTA has finally been welcomed into the school and they are doing fabulous things for the school. I highly recommend this school.

I totally agree, the new principal Dr. Mason is really doing a great job with Miami Springs Middle School. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experties to the table, because of this both students and staff are receiving 'A-1' service. She is informative, fair, understanding and truly care for her students. We are blessed to have her on our team.

This is a great school in the making. The new principal together with the overall excellent and caring teachers will soon push it to the top both academically and socially. Both my children attend and they are doing very well. My bit of advice to other parents...make sure your child(ren) does not roam the halls on their off-times (before or after school) as this is where trouble lurks! But most of all, be involved both in school and out!

Finally this school has a Principal that is cleaning it up. Dr. Quigley ignored the problems for years. Unfortunately she left such a mess it will take a while to get the school in shape again. The new Principal is enforcing dicipline which has not been done in years. Finally a change for the better in Miami Springs!
