Horrible school because they require students to learn how to write in Pre-k3 and the teachers are treated horrible by the office people and my sister goes to that school and now there is an issue and Im going to sue the school.

My son is the nursery and is doing great. His teachers are very caring and treat the students with respect and compassion. They have always listened to my concerns and answered questions. In this short time he's been there, my son has picked up so much knowledge. They really do foster learning from a very young age. The teachers genuinely care about the children. I hope to keep him at Biltmore for many years to come.

Remarkable school! Our two children have attended, The Biltmore School, since their infant years. The academic focus is exceptional, inspired in the Reggio Emilia Philosophy and yet following the International Baccalaureate Program of Inquiry. The staff is qualified and well-prepared. Our children love attending school, thanks to the positive atmosphere created by the school family. We are amazed with all that our children have learned throughout the years. The Biltmore School promotes academics and values in their students, while encouraging a family atmosphere. Not only is the school great, but more importantly it is continuously striving for more. We could not ask for more!

My child attended The Biltmore School for Pre-K3 and Pre-K4. Overall, we were satisfied with the school. My child had loving teachers and looked forward to going to school though we do not believe our child was thoroughly prepared for Kindergarten. The school follows and tries to apply the Reggio Emilio educational philosophy in their curriculum, however, it not as evident in the younger grades. The field trips, extracurricular activities, and other school events you and your child may want to participate in are costly and add up. Despite the school s shortcomings, The Biltmore School is a decent school for Nursery and Pre-School but not beyond those grades.

Excellent school, teachers, kids and staff. Ms. Gina has done a great job and the academics are amazing. My daughter started in Pre-K4 and it's unbelievable how much she loves going to school, loves her teachers and her friends. Summer program is also great and fun for the kids. It's an extremely safe environment and the after school program is until 6 pm. Highly recommend this school.

It is impressive the way my child learns at this school. My son has grown socially, emotionally, and academically. He loves his teachers. The staff knows all the children, it is like a family for these children. I can't say enough about the teachers and staff. They are patient, very knowledgeable, and the children absolutely love them. Gina has truly done an amazing job!! I love it!!!

My daughter has been at the school for 3 years and its my son's first year (both have attended under the new adm). I know that there are many important issues when choosing a school, but my main one is my children's happiness and they love school and their teachers. The school has a loving environment towards the children. I am not sure on some of the comments made by other parents - teacher turnovers - both of my children have had their teachers consistantly this year and my daughter in the former years. The curriculum is Reggio, which is very interesting. Classrooms small size - biggest has 19 kids with 2 teachers. As for the lunches - everyday Abuela prepares home cooked meal from scratch, there may be some days where there are chips, def. not everyday. Activities going on at school is same as other private and public schools.

Amazing School. My daughter enrolled last year post the new administration. My daughter is currently in Kindergarten and the school is above par. Amazing curriculum taking shape in a loving environment. The director always has her door open and welcomes tons of parent involvement. My daughter sees school as an extension of home and looks forward to learning and attending. The families are also wonderful.

Let me start by saying that my daughter is very happy with her teachers and she loves going to school. My concern is more with the administration of the place. My daughter has been a student for almost for a few years. We did not like the changes that came with the new management but she was happy. Now we feel that this new administration is not very responsive to the student needs and concerns of the parents. Just a small list of things that we see wrong: New faces around all the time without informing parents. Rates have increased and without the teachers seeing a penny. Management is more concern about appearances and fund raisers than with the improvement of facilities. The classrooms are too small for the amount of students. They used to have smaller classes.

The teaching staff are commendable caring, probably the only reason why it is still in business. The academices outstanding, life lessons commendable. No formal extra curricular activities. There is a note worthy level of parent involvement. Which is good but necessary.

This school is magnificent. The academics for the children is great. The teachers are great. The whole school staff is wonderful and very caring with the children. School offers extra-curriculum activities in school premises, which is great for the parents and children. My daughter enjoys her school and adores her teacher!

This school has a very good program for Pre K and is an excellent choice for 1 and 2 year old's day care. I would nevertheless mention that the monthly payments have increased since the school was sold earlier this year. Also, many of the great teachers that had been with the Playhouse for a long time have left the school.

Highly recommend, under new ownership which practices the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood Education. Parent involvement is highly encouraged. Great environment for children to learn.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
