i am a parent of a child at this school and i am really satisfied with what my child is learning. he has come a long way since starting. he has only been there a year and i a huge success in his academics. he is only in k5 but he is on a first grade level. the environment is not pressured but a loving caring encourging environmnet. i can admit the tuition is a little outrageous . i wish it would go down or they would give us a break by skipping a month lol but that wow never happen im guessing. my son runs to class in the morning. he always tells me whats going on in school and how he loves his teacher. the food how he explains it is great. the staff is very helping especially the office staff. the staff has changed and they are continuing to improve there staff for how it was before with teacher and staff not caring. this school has come along way and my son will be here for another year. i just wish tuition would be a little cheaperim a parent of a elementary school student so im not sure how midle and high school works. as of right now im satisfied..thank northwest christian academy

My son attended Northwest Christian Academy and I a proud parent. I love the fact that I could find a good affordable Christian School for my child. He has done well. He is in college and has good morals and behavior. I am happy that was the school he attended. I would recommend NCA to any parent who wants a good Christian school. My child did well. As parent we need to be involved in our kids life at school. It helps in how much they achieve. It should not be the school to discipline our kids but to enforce it. Thanks Northwest. A levy, former parent.

My child is currently attending NCA middle school. This is the 1st and last year. I find that the church has a big influence of the level and quality of education that my child is receiving.I dont agree with the teachers holding several postions in the school.(principal-science teacher-reding teacher). i feel that the teachers can also used some workshop training on a regular basis as they do in public schools.Less focus on Discipline and more focus on a quality education is important.I think that the type of work they receive is below average.

My son graduated from Northwest last year. He received an ok education but was not prepared for the writing skills needed for college. I think part of this was due to the fact that there is always a large turnover of teachers; therefore it doesn't make the teaching consistant. Overal the discipline was not that consistent, and there seemed to be favortism towards those attending the church. The Pastor felt that such things as psychology was not really in keeping with God and was very opiniated which went into the school. I feel this hindered my sons learning. He would have been better to just run the church. I liked the multiculturism which gave my son experience with many different people. Overall, I think my son would have been better off in public school. Seems like when a teacher was good or thought differently, they would get fired.

Best school in the area, and lowest priced private school around. The number of academic programs offered is growing from year to year, but said classes are mostly offered via satellite. Not the place to go for extensive music, art or sports programs. The attached church has a tendency to control things and force its influence.

I love this school. My child has been here since she was 2yrs in early learning. She is now in PK5 and she is NEVER leaving. I was refered to this school by a friend who daughter now attends the MAST academy and every thing she told me about this school is true. I Love the way the school focus is not only the child for develop but the family. They get the parents involved in the childs education. They have EVERYTHING the child needs for growth. The teacher to child ratio is perfect. My daughter loves going and somethings hates coming home. Teh atmosphere is magentic. I support and recommend this school to everyone.

I have two daughters attending Northwest Christian Academy School. This school is great because my daughter has excel great in this school. The teacher are very professional and courteous. I can always call the teacher or email the teachers. My daughters score high on the Stanford Achievement test. Their always security on the campus patroling. The facilities are clean. The lunch taste good. They have the best basketball team. Most of all, Northwest Christian Acamdemy has a collaboration with the parent.

My three children grades 9th, 6th, and k4 are all currently students at N.C.A. I could not have asked for more reliable, educational, or spiritual environment for them. I feel so at peace with myself when i kiss them goodbye in the morning. My husband and I both felt strongly about a good christian education and we found it at N.C.A.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
