This school is horrible!! They have so much favorites and only care for the children whose parents work there. They are very money hungry and will take your money for anything. There isn't real sports so your child will have no athletic ability. The education is horrible as well they will set you up for failure. Half of the kids that graduated end up in miami dade with no knowledge of advanced topics. The school is really small and it will not allow your child to get the feel of a bigger environment. This school is only good for daycare. They dont show christian qualities at all. DO NOT send your middle or high schooler! I attended 4-8

My child has been attending the daycare since August 2013. He has been learning and progressing just fine up until less than a month ago due to a change in the home. The teachers in the center were NOT very supportive. Because my child was acting a little differently, the teachers were prejudice towards him and they did not have very much patients with him. I was called 4 time in less than 30 days to pick him up from school. I also believe the teachers that are currently in the center are a little to old and unfit to care for young, active and hyper toodlers. My child is a normal 2 year old that is in the process of adapting to life's changes. I guess we were look at differently because the change wasn't "Christian like". I withdrew my child on the 4 time I was called to pick him up. BEWARE: Only students whose parents or family members work for the school get the the proper attention. All others are just a business to generate money to pay the staff.

I was. The parent whom wrote the a prior review in 2012. The school was great in kindergarten. 1st grade was rough and second is dreadful. This school does not operate fairly. I can't wait to transfer my son. They expect the children to be soldiers as if they are in a military setting. I have had enough of this school. They never pay for anything for example candy for the fall festival. The field trip are now $45 which they are now worth it. Tlpatents has to do an expensive live background check which the school does not reimburse. Get this the children can't to on any field trip unless they have aren't volunteer because they don't have enough staff. This school is based on money.they had to even stop the football.this school is a a mess but I can say the curriculum is also but keeping my son at this school is not worth my sanity nor my child'S. Mrs. Darbose Is the kindergarten teacher and she is awesome which is y my child stayed for first. The grading system is online which is very convenient because it update as the teacher places the grades in. The financial system is also online and you can view any changes online. COUNTING THE DAYS DOWN UNTIL MAY WHEN SCHOOL ENds

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I am a very upset. I'm not happy with the education my children are receiving at this facility. I am also very disatisfied with the way the so called administrators handle discipline. They are very unprofessional and most of them don't even have a CLUE!!!! Some of the Teachers are in major need of serious training, and why do most of them hold so many different positions. Beware!!!! Find another school if you are looking for quality education and a professional staff. Administration is the biggest JOKE!!! They are investigators, the court, trail, jury, and procecutors. Sad....

My son attended Northwest Christian Academy and I a proud parent. I love the fact that I could find a good affordable Christian School for my child. He has done well. He is in college and has good morals and behavior. I am happy that was the school he attended. I would recommend NCA to any parent who wants a good Christian school. My child did well. As parent we need to be involved in our kids life at school. It helps in how much they achieve. It should not be the school to discipline our kids but to enforce it. Thanks Northwest. A levy, former parent.

My child is currently attending NCA middle school. This is the 1st and last year. I find that the church has a big influence of the level and quality of education that my child is receiving.I dont agree with the teachers holding several postions in the school.(principal-science teacher-reding teacher). i feel that the teachers can also used some workshop training on a regular basis as they do in public schools.Less focus on Discipline and more focus on a quality education is important.I think that the type of work they receive is below average.

My son graduated from Northwest last year. He received an ok education but was not prepared for the writing skills needed for college. I think part of this was due to the fact that there is always a large turnover of teachers; therefore it doesn't make the teaching consistant. Overal the discipline was not that consistent, and there seemed to be favortism towards those attending the church. The Pastor felt that such things as psychology was not really in keeping with God and was very opiniated which went into the school. I feel this hindered my sons learning. He would have been better to just run the church. I liked the multiculturism which gave my son experience with many different people. Overall, I think my son would have been better off in public school. Seems like when a teacher was good or thought differently, they would get fired.

Best school in the area, and lowest priced private school around. The number of academic programs offered is growing from year to year, but said classes are mostly offered via satellite. Not the place to go for extensive music, art or sports programs. The attached church has a tendency to control things and force its influence.

I love this school. My child has been here since she was 2yrs in early learning. She is now in PK5 and she is NEVER leaving. I was refered to this school by a friend who daughter now attends the MAST academy and every thing she told me about this school is true. I Love the way the school focus is not only the child for develop but the family. They get the parents involved in the childs education. They have EVERYTHING the child needs for growth. The teacher to child ratio is perfect. My daughter loves going and somethings hates coming home. Teh atmosphere is magentic. I support and recommend this school to everyone.

I have two daughters attending Northwest Christian Academy School. This school is great because my daughter has excel great in this school. The teacher are very professional and courteous. I can always call the teacher or email the teachers. My daughters score high on the Stanford Achievement test. Their always security on the campus patroling. The facilities are clean. The lunch taste good. They have the best basketball team. Most of all, Northwest Christian Acamdemy has a collaboration with the parent.

My three children grades 9th, 6th, and k4 are all currently students at N.C.A. I could not have asked for more reliable, educational, or spiritual environment for them. I feel so at peace with myself when i kiss them goodbye in the morning. My husband and I both felt strongly about a good christian education and we found it at N.C.A.

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
