This school saved my son. He was diagnosed with dyslexia after being held back in first grade. He was so discouraged and was starting to feel dumb. McGlannan gave him the attention he needed as well as having the expertise in students with reading problems. I bless God for this school.

Excellent School!!! Hands down. The proof is in the pudding. I've had 2 kids go through there and both are doing great. My son who is now in 11 grade has 4.0 GPA in all honors. This is a kid who would tell me he was the dumbest kid who know thinks he wants to go into the medical field. Full of confidence and The first month he was there in the 3rd grade he told me that he was finally learning. Priceless!!! Trust me that they know what they are doing.

Having my child at this school for years was a mistake I regret. The school is very detached from the parents. Little homework is given and academically they do not cover a lot of what the student will need later. My child and his friends have struggled greatly in high school.

Only ignorant people who do not understand learning disabilities will give this school poor remarks. The curriculum and low pressure system they have may seem lacking to the ignorant but I can tell you first hand it is the most innovative in the country.

This school will not challenge your child. They will likely do a great job at making the child's self-esteem rise, however after a year or two at the school parents must assure that the extremely high cost of this school justifies the results. Ironically, reading skills may also not improve dramatically after a few years. However, many times this also depends on the child's 'at-home' reading efforts. If parents leave it all up to this school, they will be dissapointed. Unfortunately this school does not try to balance the 'make the student feel good' approach (which they do an excellent job at) with 'challenging' the student by having higher expectations. This could be a great disservice to a child and parent who is anticipating tangible progress after several years. Parents must have their own 'progress' meter and not let it be influence by the school staff.

I love this school and they made an immense difference in my son's life. The teachers are caring and the focus on unraveling your child's learning difficulties and teaching children to overcome them is unparalleled. While lacking in extracurricular activities, the children do have organized social time at lunch. The emphasis is on learning, organization, and proper social interaction. The faculty is just superb.

I high recommend this school. Full emphasis is on academics,no extra-curricular activities but for a family picnic every year. Every student has an IEP and not advanced until fully achieved. Not a teaching minute is wasted here. Non-competitive,friendly, extremely clean, safe and organized. Very caring and qualified teachers/staff with strong bonds with their students. Greatest administrative staff in a private school. Expensive but worth every penny.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
