Not sure what school the parents below had their children at but it certainly wasn't St. Agatha. The principal at this school is FAIR and the rules here apply to everyone, no exceptions. If you're looking for an easy way out or for the rules to bend in your favor, then you're in the wrong place. Strong Academics, modern technology, 20 kids/classroom with teacher and aide. Students conduct themselves respectfully and treat others with respect. Any situations that I have personally encountered have been handled professionally. Highly recommend! Your child will graduate with an excellent education, school is top 5 in the Archdiocese, and will easily transition into any of the local high schools with a solid foundation/background/education received at St. Agatha.

The school has good teachers and the overall school dicipline is good. The students are well behaved, I feel that the Principal needs to allow all the parents and their comments to be heard instead of just a "click" of parets" who are always involved in all. There are many parents that are not wealthy and can not contribute to the school in money or time due to having to work to have their child there..I feel that onle certain parents are heard and others are discarded. The Principal favors centain parents. we are all equal and our children should be trated equally.

I would consider sending your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other schools that your children would probably benefit from. The class size is a lot bigger than a public school. 30 students to one teacher in some classes is outrageous! The administration does not discipline their children fairly. Ask those important questions prior to enrolling. Some teachers are really good and are there for the children. I agree with other parents that the principal is intimating to EVERYONE including her teachers. Sad to say but look at other schools.

I really think the person that wrote about the principal yelling at students if they disagree with her and about the education in St Agatha being of the dark ages is just trying to make the school look bad with lies. I would never let my child be in a school were teachers of administration does not respect her. This is why we came in here in the first place and I can tell you that children are very respectful and educated in this school. Something you don't see at other schools. They have rules they need to abide by which are great!! They don't toleate Bullying at all!!!! This person probably does not know how to tell what a good education entails! I can assure you , we searched high and low for a great school for our daughter and nothing out there compares to the environment here!!

My daughter attended kindergarten at St. Agatha 3 years ago. The same teachers and principal are still there, so I feel I can write this review. While my child was there, I was most impressed by the discipline at the school. Children of all ages were encouraged to use good manners and speak to adults in a loud and respectful manner. The private school my daughter is in now doesn't stress those very important things. I found the principal to be nice, although I do agree with someone's observation that it is hard to break into the established cliques that parents have formed. In kindergarten, academics were very strong.

There is nothing special about St. Agatha School and in fact, public schools are far superior. The teaching methodology is from the dark ages. Class sizes are large and many, many students do not get the support they need. Many teachers are there because they were not hired by systems paying significantly higher salaries. Many students leave after bad experiences. As many parents will attest, the Principal intimidates her students, staff, AND parents, even to the point of yelling at them should they disagree with her. This is about the most un-Christian environment I have ever been in and am glad we will be leaving the school.
