Sorry if your child has ADHD do not put them here if your loves to fool around they will interpret them the wrong way !
This school has its good things and bad things. Before you pick this school you should look into the good and the bad and see you it is something you would like for your kid. The good things are that they're is a pretty good relationship between the students and teachers. Some teachers do favor some students but not most. In some classes, they do recognize your talents, in some other classes, you are sometimes put down. Its sports are ok, not too much competition. Another good thing is the Christian enviorenment in the school. The weekly chapels are a great way to come closer to God. The bad things are that you will never be academically challenged. This school is super easy and very slack. The students are very disrespectful toward teachers. Also, the school spirit is really bad. Its an ok school. Its easy and not well organized. Needs a lot of work and dedication. Staff and students need more school spirit and a lot more giving instead of receiving. Elementary is good but middle and high school is extremely horrible. Think twice before coming here.
This school was ideal for a variety of students each with different talents and goals. It met my expectations. The only true competition in the school between students was to achieve better grades and become the best. I was a student there and I enjoyed all my years of attendance there. A close knit student body created more of a family relationship and close bonds.
MCS is an average school that is ideal for young children (Pre-K thru 2). It has the potential for being a great school and in some areas it is. Parents considering this school should be aware that administrators are heavy handed and arbitrary with parents. There are great teachers here, but school administrators tend crush initiative, passion, and creativity. The elementary athletic program is very efficient in collecting fees but extremely disorganized to the point of undermining safety. This is a school with a pronounced clique of parents and administrators where you will always be an outsider. They discourage any sense of class involvement by parents and is not a father-friendly school. Again, its an average school with great potential.
This is one of the best private non-denominational Christian School in Miami-Dade. They are dedicated to developing young people for a positive role in our society.
This is the best school I ever had for my children. If you can afford a private school this is it. They treat your child like family. Very healthy environment
My child graduated from the Padre Pio program at St Agatha. This is a program for children with learning disabilities. Patricia Hernandez is the director of the program and she is a wonderful person who is genuinely dedicated to her profession and to the children and cares for your child. The program St. Agatha offers is strong, challenging and personalize according to your child s needs. As they grow and find confidence in their work they get to be place into regular classes. The program gives all the support needed to succeed. I am very impress with this program and I strongly recommend it. My child learned strong study habits that will take her through high school and college. She has been challenge and wants to be challenge because she is confident of what she can achieve. This program gave her the skills and the confidence to always strive for excellence. In addition to having this program the children can interact with the other children in the special area classes, like PE, Music, and Art. They have various sports to offer and cheerleading. They also have different clubs and many activities for the children
Great School, Challenging academics, Spritual growth, many activities like chorus, music, sports, great teachers.
I have a middle schooler and an elementary school aged child. MCS focuses on academics without overwhelming the student. Homework is frequent but in small quantities. Teachers sincerely care about the students and the school policies are administered fairly across the board. Over the last 10 years 100% of all their HS grads go to college. I'm planning on having both my kids continue on in that school tradition!
