Waldorf International School

I am a parent at Waldorf International School and have been a member of this community for four years. I am honored to say my kids attend this school. There is a true sense of caring and warmth and everyone gets along; any member of our community will say the same thing. This school truly adheres to Waldorf methodology and curriculum with teachers who have been teaching in waldorf schools for over 30 years. I trust them wholeheartedly with the care of my children and honestly believe that this is the closest thing to homeschooling.

This is the most wonderful learning environment for children. It stresses the use of imagination as well as music, movement and contructive play time in a manner not seen in "normal" public/charter schools. My son is thriving since become a Waldorf student. He has discovered a love of learning which was sadly lacking in his previous school, and happily sings every morning on his way to school. This has been a blessing and a great success story!

This school is exactly what my children need. I love the quality and level of attention my son gets; this provides for a learning experience that is tailored to his particular needs. The way children learn at this school enables them to be eager about learning new things, which is much more than I can say about other schools where children are discouraged from learning because it is an unpleasant experience (i.e., all the pressure from homework and tests).

The school has been instrumental in helping develop our sons. The student / teacher ratio is excellent. The teachers are caring, polite, and very patient. The parents are very involved in school activities. The school has a family type atmosphere and the children all get along. I highly recommend this school to everyone.

Waldorf international is like a second home for us. I can not imagine my children in any other school. The teachers are very loving, patient and approach each child on individual level. The children care for each-other, the older ones help the younger ones and they play all together regardless of age. We have weekly playgroup where we meet with other parents and children and can consult the principal teacher about anything. It keeps our community tight and this way the parents can stay very involved in their child's life. The older children love to learn and express a real thirst for knowledge. They don't ever seem to be bored in their classroom. I recommend this school to all parents.

I love Waldorf international school and wouldn't dream of placing my child in any other school. It is a relief to know that my child's mind is developing as well as her spirit. She is more creative, and imaginative since she has been there and I see everyday the positive impact the school has made on her developement. I trust the teachers completely and often go to them for parenting advise. My child eats all kinds of veggies now and I have Waldorf to thank for that. I considered homeschooling after researching the schools in my area and this is as close to them being with as it gets. It is a wonderful community and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Waldorf has an excellent academic program as they teach all acedemics through the creative arts. The children participate and learn music, art, and movement everyday. The parents are extremely supportive. We are like a big family, especially the way we all work together to make things happen. Waldorf is non-secular, yet they expose your child to world religions. My child is so happy at school that she asks to go to school on the weekends. This school allows your child to love learning, which is the way education should be. I am so happy with this school and the Waldorf Education system that my child will only go to Waldorf Schools.
