I wish I could share the sentiments of the other reviewers, but my children have not had good experiences at this school. The teachers are ok, but the pasor, who is the head, is not consistent and does not treat all student the same. I have seem him being rude to the teachers and seems to be on a power trip. The halls are dark and need better lighting. Maintenance is needed in all the rooms. There are holes in the walls from student abuse. Maybe the elementary is better, but there is definitely a lack of teaching in the upper grades. I think the teachers are all too tense from the pastor who does not seem to let them do their job. Students who have been expelled from other schools are welcomed here with opened arms.

I am a proud parent of a child that attends Calusa preparatory Christian school. I am so pleased with the progress that my daughter has made since she began last school year. Shes happy to attend school and feels very comfortable with her surroundings, classmates & curriculum. I would be proud to recommend Calusa to anyone.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
