My son has been attending Christian Learning Center since he was an infant. He will be 5 years old in a couple weeks and he is at a 1st grade reading level. The teachers are amazing and the principal and staff are amazing. My son loves it there and I intend to leave him there until he reaches the 5th grade. I can't imagine him going to any other school. Thank you Christian Learning Center for being such a wonderful 2nd home to my son. =)
This is such a hidden gem. Very small ratio in classrooms after 1st. grade which provides excellent personal attention to the kids' needs. Excellent teaching philosophy and moral values, as well as a focused christian education.
Very small and simple, but so full of love and coziness. We're really happy about switching to this environment for elementary. Sometimes we, parents, want such a full-package with all the extras included when searching for private school; but that's not neccessarily what our kids need. Great curriculum and very focused on christian values based on bible teachings.
Excellent balance philosophy in regards academics and spiritual education based on bible teachings. Their philosophy in regards the amount of homework is totally correct, no overloads and focused on reviewing concepts learned in school (rather than having the parents giving a new class at home). Their elementary school is simply the best. You can't find such a personalized attention and dedication anywhere else.
I am very pleased about the new school principal that started this year (2009). Nothing major against last year one, but she didn't seem to be available anytime and not really dedicated. I think this change had brought a new life and focus to the school's ideals.
If you're looking for an elementary school that will not only provide great academic curriculum, but also bible-based principles in their teaching philosophy and school environment, this is the place for you. Our kids are growing under a very personal attention and focus on their education system as well as spiritually, thanks to the dedication of their teachers. Their pre-k levels have a very good ratio of student-teachers, but their elementary levels (1-5) are the winner. You're not going to find this environment anywhere else. We feel very blessed to have found this school for our kids.
We couldn't be happier to have both our children here at their elementary school. This is our 2nd. year. The curriculum is excellent, the teachers are such dedicated people and obviously working there for the love of teaching, and the new administration staff that started this school year are the best. Their objective and goal is really to cater the personal and academic needs of every child there. It's a small and cozy environment that provides the children with true love and academic excellence.
The school is overall great, the curriculm is wonderful and the teachers are amazing, but the school director and vice president are not helpful in any way. They love to change school rules every so often to their convinience and have no consideration for the students. My child loves her teachers and learns alot everyday but the office staff is extremely unpleasant.
My daughter has been in this school for one year. She already loves it!Sometimes, she cries when her favorite teacher's not there. But she still loves it.
The school is great, the curiculum is wonderful ,my son's level of education is way over other kids of even other private schools. You are not forced to participate in sunday service that is an option, not an obligation. The whole system is a+.I highly recommended.Great discipline
