My daughter just fininshed her first year at this school. I am extremely happy with this school. Especially her running coach. She is on Cross Counry and track and field. Coach Raposo is an integral part of the program. Wonderful Coach, Great teachers and wonderful facilities.

I am currently a junior at JAFSH.The school is just pretty bad. It is such a mission to walk through the halls, with so many students and not only that , but they give you 5 minutes to get to class. Thats not enough time, considering the amount of people. The school cares more about tardies and uniform than the actual education. Students actually prefer being absent to school than getting a late pass and serving detention or saturday school. Every year the school and administration get worse. The teachers on the other hand, most of them enjoy their job and can teach pretty well.

I graduated last year from ferguson, and let me tell you it is a great school, I loved it couldn't hope for a better school, kit has amazing extracurricular activities and teachers are really good too, the office might be little hard to work with sometimes but nothing too bad, pretty much the best high school around
Ferguson has a great IB program. Just tht im not quiet positive about the bullying.
I'm a current student at JAF and I most say it is terrible the administration is rude they have their priorities in the wrong place the students do nothing but bully and ridicule each other. Some of the teachers don't even seen like teaching is cut out for them. The staff in the attendance office needs an attitude check. And it's clear that they don't take safe measures when it comes to keeping others safe they keep students for the founding that runs out before they even get to the middle of the year.

I went to to visit the two I.B. schools my daughter applied to. one the great coral Reef, and the other John A ferguson. we went to both open house's let me tell you the student's in coral reef look like they are scared of their lead teacher they would look for her approval to say anything the people in the office you would have more feed back from a rock! John A Ferguson the lead teacher was nice informative had the IB student up and down talking to the parent and student didnt look coached everyone looked happy they love the school.that say's alot about the teachers and school the people in J.A.F office couldn't be nicer.no brainer where my child is going next year!

My son is in 9th grade at JAF and he loves his school. When we have to communicate with a teacher or a counselor, they always are for you to help you. The bad experience that we always have is when we need to call or to go to the front desk office, the personnel are so rude. I think they have to pay more attention to this matter because this causes many negative impressions for the entire school. I hope our daugther loves JAF too.

My daughter and I love JAF and most of the teachers motivate their students. I am impressed with the way the monitor the progress of their students and counselors are their to help alone the way. The only bad experience we have has at the school is with the front office personnel. They definately should get a class on being well mannered.

This school has been great to my daughter. She had such a terrible experience at Archimedean Middle School. Now she actually loves going to school everyday... You can't be happier as a parent.

The school is just average. Good luck trying to get a hold of your child's counselor or anyone in the office for that matter. Very rude office administrators.

My daughter attends the 12th grade IB program, and she loves JAF and the extra curricular activities. She is very pleased with her teachers, their devotion and willingness to help. This school has improved tremendously since my child started here. My son is now a freshman at JAF. :)

I Currently Attend Ferguson SHS && ive got to say there is no other school like it. The Security is above all the best thing they have because of the safety they want to maintain. Teachers teach, and even tutor students and push them towards a better future.

Ferguson is a new, fairly big school but everyone there is friendly, and goal oriented. My daughter is in the IB program and we are very impressed with the program. The school has a lot to offer academically & athletically. No goal is to high where falcons fly! This is the school's motto, Go Falcons!!

Excellent teachers- I have great communication via email with all the teachers and I as a parent review my son's grades and progress constanly on the website to be involve in his studies, assigments, grades and attendance. Im a working mother and I am not able to attend to school as often as I want to .. but being able to be part of the status of his classes and contact teachers so easily makes me feel really secure and happy.

im a junior at JAF and i've really enjoyed my time here. its a great school, with an improving athletics program. it lacks a little school spirit, but definitely does not lack dedicated teachers and for the most part dedicated students. last year we accomplished our goal of being an A school and we hope to keep our school among the best in the county. i strongly recommend this school (:
