Both of my children, who are currently 19 and 16, attended Coral Park Elementary. My 19 year old graduated from MAST Academy this year. He was admitted at UM, UF, Davidson College, and Colby University. I thank Mrs. Torres, Mrs. Chonan, Mr. Diaz, Mr. Ramos for my children's success every single day. These teachers along with Mrs. Nu ez's guidance and support have been instrumental in my children's education. My 16 year old is currently a junior at SW Miami Sr. High. She's in the top 10% of her class and is taking several AP classes. I truly appreciate and thank them from the bottom of my heart for all the efforts, guidance, support and teachings they gave my children. If you have your children at Coral Park Elementary right now, please know that they are in one of the BEST SCHOOLS IN MIAMI!!!! Maria Ossorio

Great school. I have 2 nieces and a nephew who attend. They are doing wonderful. If a child that attends this school is not doing well you can only blame the parent.The teachers are the best.

My daughter has been attending Coral Park Elementary since 2nd grade and now is in 5th. Her elementary experience has been nothing but positive. All her teachers have been caring and excellent role models. The principal is one of a kind when she hands out all the report cards to each parent every nine-weeks. Kudos to all at Coral Park Elementary for making this school great. Your efforts are truly appreciated by all parents and students.

This an exceptional school with lots of parent/teacher/principal involvement. The principal of this school knows all of her students on a personal level. That in itself means a lot. CPE has excellent teachers that truly care about the children. We feel lucky and extremely proud to live in the neighborhood and that our children have the opportunity to attend this great school.

After a long research looking for a good school I choose CPE, after reviewing the school and teacher scores, I am very happy with the results and staff support. specially very grateful to Ms. Monica Rodriguez, school counselor for her promptly diligence and care about my struggling 3rd grade daughter. Coral Park Elementary has excellent teachers. I have two children attending and every teacher they've had really love to teach. The only problem with the school is the Principal and Assistant Principal. They treat these children as if they were in high school. They force so much class work and homework on them that they are taking away the most precious time in their lives, their childhood. As far as my kids are concerned they hardly have time to be kids and enjoy all the things I did and every parent before me. Not even on the weekends. I don't think its worth it with what's at stake. I'am sure they enjoyed their childhood. Shame on them both!

Both my daughters attend this school and are thriving academically. This is a great school with great teachers. The only thing I would like to see change wouth be the need for more extracurricular activities.

The Principal along with the teachers are very involved in making sure that children succeed. Children are not left behind, whether they are gifted, or are having difficulties, their is support. The school could have more extracurricular activities, but overall as long as their is parent involvement, this is a great school.

My son has attended this school since Kindergarten. He has been provided the highest level of education available and the teachers as well as the administration has always been very involved in the education of their students. I would recommend this school highly.

My daughter came in to CPE in the end of the 2nd quarter of this year. I am so pleased with the curriculum and the teachers she has. They have been a blessing and have made her transition into a new school smooth while making her work hard and feel as if she has been there all along. I really cannot express my gratitude for the effort and dedication the staff has shown. It begins in the office with a terrific bunch of ladies clear through the very dedicated safety patrols and security that guard our children there. Thanks again!

I became involved with the school system for the first time last year after I got custody of my godson. I have always heard horror stories about schools. Not at Coral Park. The level of professionalism and dedication from the teachers impressed me. At Coral Park, the teachers really cared and wanted the kids to learn. At Coral Park, they don't teach for the FCAT. They teach, period! How lucky are the parents who have kids here. Kudos to all the teachers and staff and kudos to the principal Mrs. Nunez. It all stars from the top.
