I Hope Principal Nu ez reads this. This is the worst school ever no Communication what's so ever with the parents. The Teacher's nor the Principal are any good. "Hey lets wait till the year is almost over and its to Late to help him pass, or not help the child at all" "Lets have meetings but attend them late" "lets have a meeting but show no progress or improvement". Better yet "lets have a meeting to pretend we care" What kind of school really never seen.such bad people in a school waiting last minute to pretend or act as if the child matters to them. What ever the child is getting put in a 100% better school that cares about each and every one of their alumni. I talk from experience. I dont recommend this school to anyone. Worst teacher ever lucky i dont say any names or grade. Thats fine. But just REMEMBER Parents make sure your children are in good hands.
Coral Park Elementary is a public school that can rival any private one. The dedication of the teachers, administrators and staff is incredible. Every single person at that school is dedicatate to the kids regardless of whether they are teachers, adminstrators or other staff members, Success starts at the top with Principal Nunez. Her incredible devotion to the children and the school has to rub off on the teachers and staff. Kudos Mrs. Nunez. And a great big THANK YOU! To Mrs. Campbell, 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Rodriguez, 1st grade teacher and Coaches Ramos and Lopez. Thank you all for your dedication!!!!
My English is not enough to express in details what a i feel, but is my obligation to try:
My daughter always was an excellent student, but that was in Cuba, she began her studies in USA at the end of the last course, in our home, Spanish is not principal language, is "the language". So, I consider my daughter classified like an student with learning issues, but, Coral Park Elementary of Miami Dade helps she to integrate at her new community so easy, by programs like Tutoring (earlier Tuesday and Thursday), and Saturday School, and with excellent teacher and a real leader in Mrs. Nunez
This is an exceptional school, the principal and all her teachers are excellent. My daughter love Mrs Torres, she is special and very nice.
My daughter is in Pre-K and she's doing great. Her teacher and assistant are very caring and have taught her so much already. Thank you.
I HAVE MY TWINS BOYS IN THIS SCHOOL THE PRINCIPAL IS VERY SPECIAL THIS SCHOOL HAS BEEN EXCELLENT . IM GLAD MY KIDS ARE THERE GOOD SCHOOL
Each year has been better that the previous one. High level of education and great school!
My daughter is in this school "A"school all thanks to the excellent job of the principal "Ms Nunez" she is aware of all students and requiring teachers to fulfill their jobs
Great school they really do care about there student & the Principal is wonderful along with all the teachers! LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!
Both of my children, who are currently 19 and 16, attended Coral Park Elementary. My 19 year old graduated from MAST Academy this year. He was admitted at UM, UF, Davidson College, and Colby University. I thank Mrs. Torres, Mrs. Chonan, Mr. Diaz, Mr. Ramos for my children's success every single day. These teachers along with Mrs. Nu ez's guidance and support have been instrumental in my children's education. My 16 year old is currently a junior at SW Miami Sr. High. She's in the top 10% of her class and is taking several AP classes. I truly appreciate and thank them from the bottom of my heart for all the efforts, guidance, support and teachings they gave my children. If you have your children at Coral Park Elementary right now, please know that they are in one of the BEST SCHOOLS IN MIAMI!!!! Maria Ossorio
They work with special kids. Please, help special kids to grow up for a better future.
Great school. I have 2 nieces and a nephew who attend. They are doing wonderful. If a child that attends this school is not doing well you can only blame the parent. The teachers are the best.
My daughter has been attending Coral Park Elementary since 2nd grade and now is in 5th. Her elementary experience has been nothing but positive. All her teachers have been caring and excellent role models. The principal is one of a kind when she hands out all the report cards to each parent every nine-weeks. Kudos to all at Coral Park Elementary for making this school great. Your efforts are truly appreciated by all parents and students.
This an exceptional school with lots of parent/teacher/principal involvement. The principal of this school knows all of her students on a personal level. That in itself means a lot. CPE has excellent teachers that truly care about the children. We feel lucky and extremely proud to live in the neighborhood and that our children have the opportunity to attend this great school.
After a long research looking for a good school I choose CPE, after reviewing the school and teacher scores, I am very happy with the results and staff support. specially very grateful to Ms. Monica Rodriguez, school counselor for her promptly diligence and care about my struggling 3rd grade daughter. After 3 struggling years and crying for help about my ADD child I finally came to be in good hands. Rosa K Gomez 3rd grade mom.
Coral Park Elementary has excellent teachers. I have two children attending and every teacher they've had really love to teach. The only problem with the school is the Principal and Assistant Principal. They treat these children as if they were in high school. They force so much class work and homework on them that they are taking away the most precious time in their lives, their childhood. As far as my kids are concerned they hardly have time to be kids and enjoy all the things I did and every parent before me. Not even on the weekends. I don't think its worth it with what's at stake. I'am sure they enjoyed their childhood. Shame on them both!
My children attend this school and I am very happy with their constant progress. My only complaint is the lack of clubs and extra-curricular activities.
Both my daughters attend this school and are thriving academically. This is a great school with great teachers. The only thing I would like to see change wouth be the need for more extracurricular activities.
The Principal along with the teachers are very involved in making sure that children succeed. Children are not left behind, whether they are gifted, or are having difficulties, their is support. The school could have more extracurricular activities, but overall as long as their is parent involvement, this is a great school.
My son has attended this school since Kindergarten. He has been provided the highest level of education available and the teachers as well as the administration has always been very involved in the education of their students. I would recommend this school highly.
