This is the worst school I have ever dealt with! The principle is very rude and does not address parents' concerns or comments. Bulling is a big problem and it seems that it will not get better. The school is too concerned about expanding, for what? If you want your child to attend the High school you will have to reapply. The only reason the school scores high in the FCAT is because they require MANDATORY Saturday school. My kids will not be returning to this school!

My child was to this school in 7th grade, and I can honestly say it was the worst decision we ever made. Every night she comes home bombarded with homework, and she stays up studying until the late hours of he night. Yet she still fails to get decent grades. Every morning she detests going to school. In addition to that, my child is very artistic and doesn't fit in with the environment of this school. The level of maturity in this one differs from other schools. The language arts, science, and social studies courses were fantastic, but the math taught in 7th grade was below par. Even with that being said, she still struggled with homework every night to maintain average grades. This school also has MANDATORY saturday school, which is ridiculous. Can't they fit it in sometime during school hours? This school also has more school hours than a traditional public school, and students have no choice in electives. The computer elective is only an excuse to assign unnecessary homework. This school was disappointing, I don't see why there is so much hype over it. I'm glad we are no longer in Archimedean.

MY daughter goes to this school, it has a very high academic curriculum. i love that she is in st. government as a vice president, she goes to school does her work, during lunch she has various meetings(editor of news crew,st. gov't. ) or goes to a teacher and they give up their lunch to tutor her. then after school she either has a game for basketball or volleyball or has practice. this school teaches my daughter how to interact and how to get things done.

I love Archimedean becouse the teachers and staff truely cares about the students and that is what matters. If a child is not making the grade the do what they can to help that child bring up the grades.
