My kids go to this school. I've been satisfied for several years until the new Principal Mrs. Blanco arrived. She is unaproachable and rude. She is media hungry and feels she is above parents and teachers.

I went to the school and I'm so glad I left. The teachers are great but the students are horrible. It isn't a friendly environment and at times you aren't able to learn. Happy to be gone!

This is an excellent school. My son came to this school for the 3rd grade. At that time, he suffered from a speech impediment, although attending expensive tutoring services each afternoon. My son is now in the 8th grade. He attends advance placement & honor classes, and is a member of the National Jr. .Honor Society. We owe his success to the dedication of the teachers and staff at Winston Park K-8.

Winston Park has been my home away from home for over 15 years. All four of my children have attended and I think it is the best school with the most dedicated teachers. I wish the class sizes were smaller, but I realize that it is not the principal's fault. It is up to us as parents to let our legislators know that we are not happy with their lack of concern for education.

This is a community driven school with strong support from our PTSA, parents, neighbors, students, and teachers. It takes a community to raise our children.

As a proud WP Wildcat teacher of our sixth-eighth graders, I can say that our teachers are outstanding. Truly, students here are cared for and taught extraordinarily well. They foster friendships and nurture them, a lot of them since Pre-K. While this is a public school, there is a parochial feel to it in the sense that 'everyone knows your name.' From the kind, helpful, in-the-know ladies who work in the main office to the knowledgable administration to the caring, hard working teachers...Winston Park is truly a special place.

This is my daughters first year and coming from a school that had only 16 students in the class, Im not thrilled with Winston Park. There are 36 kids in the second grade and has 2 teachers. However you cannot control that many 7 yr olds in one room. The math is the same math she learned last year, and the language arts is really easy. She was doing harder stuff in first grade. The security of the school is great and the new principal and vice principal seem really nice and committed to doing a good job. I just wish the classes were smaller and the academics more rigorous.
