My kids go to this school. I've been satisfied for several years until the new Principal Mrs. Blanco arrived. She is unaproachable and rude. She is media hungry and feels she is above parents and teachers.
I went to the school and I'm so glad I left. The teachers are great but the students are horrible. It isn't a friendly environment and at times you aren't able to learn. Happy to be gone!
I just graduated from this school and words cat explain how thanked ful I am of spending all my elementary & middle school years there all the teachers are sweet and teach in a very fun matter making it easy to understand the staff is wonderful always there to listing Winston park I'm my home away from home and I'm going to miss it terribly it has though ne to be the grown lady I am today this school is truly a great school and once a wildcat always a wildcat :)
This is an excellent school. My son came to this school for the 3rd grade. At that time, he suffered from a speech impediment, although attending expensive tutoring services each afternoon. My son is now in the 8th grade. He attends advance placement & honor classes, and is a member of the National Jr. .Honor Society. We owe his success to the dedication of the teachers and staff at Winston Park K-8.
Winston Park has been my home away from home for over 15 years. All four of my children have attended and I think it is the best school with the most dedicated teachers. I wish the class sizes were smaller, but I realize that it is not the principal's fault. It is up to us as parents to let our legislators know that we are not happy with their lack of concern for education.
This is a community driven school with strong support from our PTSA, parents, neighbors, students, and teachers. It takes a community to raise our children.
As a proud WP Wildcat teacher of our sixth-eighth graders, I can say that our teachers are outstanding. Truly, students here are cared for and taught extraordinarily well. They foster friendships and nurture them, a lot of them since Pre-K. While this is a public school, there is a parochial feel to it in the sense that 'everyone knows your name.' From the kind, helpful, in-the-know ladies who work in the main office to the knowledgable administration to the caring, hard working teachers...Winston Park is truly a special place.
This is my daughters first year and coming from a school that had only 16 students in the class, Im not thrilled with Winston Park. There are 36 kids in the second grade and has 2 teachers. However you cannot control that many 7 yr olds in one room. The math is the same math she learned last year, and the language arts is really easy. She was doing harder stuff in first grade. The security of the school is great and the new principal and vice principal seem really nice and committed to doing a good job. I just wish the classes were smaller and the academics more rigorous.
My daughter is in the first grade and in her 2nd year and WP. Both she and I are very happy with her progress and the schools emphasis on learning and achievement. I dont see as many activities 9i.e. ice cream socials, movies in the field...) as i did when Ms. Virgin was principal, but hopefully Mr. Diaz will soon catch on to the wildcat spirit and realize a lil social activity for the kids helps there overall learing experience and enthusiam towards school.
The teachers at Winston Park are dedicated to the students. They go above and beyond to expose the children to many opportunities insided and outside the school. My child enjoys coming to school each day and that is a blessing to any parent.
Winston Park is truly a community school where parents, students and teachers come together to make the school better and enhance the education of the children. This can be witnessed from the way events are held, the way the parents get along with each other and the responsiveness of the teachers, their willingness to help and inventive ways they find to teach our children. We now have a new principal and he has done a great job so far. The previous principal knew each child, their grades and how they behaved. Kudos to WP and Faculty!
I <3 all the teachers. I miss them dearly, i thank them for every thing they did to help me learn they did expiriments motions or what ever it took. There were never any fights. The princables were great and made many shows, peformances, and dressing up days to help us understand & to learn. Also the teachers plan many field trips to learn about the our environment and how to help it.
The teachers at Winston Park are dedicated to help the students learn. The previous princable knew every ones names and how they behaved. The new princable is doing very well.I love the school along with my wife and kids.Winston Park is great!!!!!!!!!!!
Winston Park has a wonderful staff who is dedicated to its students. There is no other place I would rather work or school I would have my children attend. Go Wildcats!!!

This is an excellent school that grings so many opportunities for students to learn. We work together as a big family, and respect each other.
My kids couldn't be at a better school... I am very appreciative of every teacher that has touched the lives of my children... Winston Park has an extremely dedicated staff...
A great school. My daughters attend the best school in Winston Park. I feel they are safe and have the best learning environment ever. Thank you to all the teachers. I appreciate you all!!
