I am very happy with arivida's music program and academics. I had a hard time deciding between arvida and Ammons but their orchestra won me over. If your child is musically inclined, then arvida is the place to be.

Arvida Middle School has impressed me as a superb school that emphasizes challenging students to ensure they success not just in high school but beyond. The teachers maintain a high caliber curriculum and the principal is both well liked and highly effective. The music program is exceptional under the auspices of Ms Ventura. My son has evolved academically, musically, and socially in this crucial middle school years thanks to this excellent school, its staff, and administration.

hello i am attending arvida going into my 7th grade year and i love this school it has changed my life very friendly and most techers are very nice but there is one named Mrs. palmer! she is horrible! and a couple of fights but besides that its great!

This school has been a blessing. My children went to a local charter school, and were emotionally neglected and bullied. Arvida is great and so is the staff....

Initially, I was apprehensive about my daughter attending Arvida. How wrong I was! This is absolutely, without a doubt, THE BEST middle school I have ever seen. For starters, academics are important. My daughter was completely "set up" to apply at the top magnet schools in the county. She not only excels academically, she learned to play cello. What an incredible opportunity! From the principal to the faculty, nearly every one of the her classes were top notch. One thing that I like about Arvida, as compared to a charter school or K-8 center, is the diversity of opportunities students have. This is a full-fledged middle school, complete with shop, orchestra, band, art, dance, and many, many other electives. Your child can explore so many things and gain experience, if they choose. I found that charter schools, and K-8 centers offer only a "taste" of minimal electives. ARVIDA ROCKS!!!

I was a student, and I found my time here well-spent. I was in the last class of the Global Academy, before they changed it to Global Studies and Fine Arts, and before it changed to a Middle School. Even though I have 3 years of high school ahead of me, I can easily say that Arvida has been the school with the most impact. When I was there, the academics were insanely easy, but that's because I'm not your average student. I absolutely loved the gifted program because the teachers and students are just there. Of course, there were fights occasionally, okay, maybe frequently, but that's all normal high school stuff, and pigeonholing this middle school based on the demographics is a great injustice. Arvida Vikings forever.

Best middle school on the area, great Principal, Assistant Principals, Counselors, security, cannot praise the staff enough. Most teachers are very dedicated, they have a lot of activities, band, orchestra, dance, green club, cheerleading, drama club, math counts, you name it. Parental involvement is good, lots of booster clubs. Great school to transition from Elementary to High, no fights or bulling.

This school was the greatest school, some teachers were a little iffy, but most were amazing. The administration enforces everything, and things ran pretty smoothly.

well, like all schools, arvida has its high and low points. the school has many activities and fun electives that the kids enjoy, and the teachers have a very good education and teach well, but some teachers are rude. it is easy to make friends here, but there is a lot of fights. arvida is a good school, but most deffinetly not the best. there are way better schools.

Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
