My son will be in 2nd grade in September and we are relocating to the Miami area. He is special needs (legally blind, ADHD) and has an IEP. He is currently doing part time special ed. Any recommendations for a public elementary school with a great special ed program?

Hello...I, too, relocated to Miami....I have had a very difficult time with the public schools here especially Leewood elementary.... I spoke to Parent to Parent of Miami... You can look them up online and call directly... They will instantly connect you with an associate that can help you....they know everything... I wish I'd found them sooner....my son is high functioning autism....however, I am still looking for schools as I just spoke ton them last week, they have given me many names of schools and what they specialize in and also what parents are saying about the schools....I am visiting the schools this week....good luck and welcome to Miami...
