Any recommendations for a child with HFA who also qualifies as gifted? We'd like a strong academic school in a neighborhood with affordable rentals.

Hi! If you're interested in a private school, Rosemont Academy is worth considering. We are a small, private elementary school for children with mild to moderate learning differences and our curriculum was created by our Director who happens to have a Gifted Education Endorsement. Visit www.RosemontAcademy.com for more information. Thanks!

I have been looking all week and finally got in touch with Parent to Parent....call them as they are extremely helpful and they will talk to you right away....you don't have to wait for someone to eventually get back to you....they know most of the schools and what others are saying and experiencing.... Good luck....

Thank you, "still searching". I too got a very brusque "We don't have any kids with Autism here" when I inquired about support at Leewood. (Yeah, right!) I will call Parent to Parent.

Right now we are looking at Devon Aire, Lehman, Calusa and a few others.

Good luck to you also.
