Exceptional education. Great student teacher ratio. Safe. PE every day. Great teachers. Outstanding art teacher and 2-4th grade teachers and aides. Fantastic lunches and free before school care. Have had 3 children through and found it better than the private schools they had. Totally prepared them for Middle School and beyond. Couldn't get a better rating.

A small town school with big plans and big expectations for the kids, Micanopy Area Charter School is truly a community center for education

Our granddaughters are new to the school this year. We are satisfied with how they have adjusted. Mosquitoes at lunch and at recess are quite troublesome.

My oldest child has attented Macs for 4 years ans I believed with the student teacher ratio he recieves the one on one attention needed. Macs also encourages parents to be involved in the school by volunteer work. I do believe they should be better discipline action taken when needed. Other than that I find Macs a very safe and well qualified school. My son enjoys learning and loves the Facilty. Thanks to the Teachers putting alot of effort into teaching my son is an honor student.
